    I have used Oakhurst Landscaping multiple times in the past to spread ******************** my backyard. I was happy with their pricing and work so I asked them to propose a solution to a water drainage issue. The owner *******************, gave me a proposal and said this would fix the problem. The began the work and multiple times he said he needed more money to make it work right. I paid each time as he requested. As you see from the attached pictures, the work was not done correctly. I contacted them 10+ times to make the fixes and every time, they promised **** would be right over to fix it. They never came so I am reaching out to the BBB for assistance.

    We have been out to Mr. ******* residence at least seven times to address his issues with the drainage system he hired us to install. The system is functional and properly installed. In all of our proposals, we have a disclaimer stating we cannot guarantee the performance of any system/product the consumer purchases outside of our recommendations. The consumer is responsible for the work required to maintain what we installed.

    I am rejecting this response because: if you view the attachments I previously sent,

    1. the one 0471 clearly shows the drainage pipe was not aligned with the downspout. 

    2. The picture 0459 indisputably shows the collapse of their drain due to improper installation and the path where water runs around the drain is also visible.

    3. Their claim that they have been out several times to fix this drainage project is only true to the extent that they never finished it and kept coming back to keep finishing it.  As you see from the pictures, they have not done a proper job.  

    4. If you ask them for an estimate, you will see that I paid considerably more money than their estimate.  They kept asking for more money and I was already in the middle of the job with them so I had to pay far more than their quote.

    None of this is due to any lack of maintenance on my part.  It is faulty workmanship by Oakhurst taking on a project they know nothing about.  They have tried to tell me it is also because I insisted on using PVC pipe, but that had nothing to do with the failure of the collection box in picture number 0459.

    Thank you for your help.  I believe my next step is small claims court.
