    Purchased a 50lb electronic amplifier from ****** **** valued at $2000 who took the amplifier to the UPS store in ****, NC. They told him that they would only insure it for $2000 if they packaged it themselves. Mr **** was told it would be double boxed and marked as fragile. When the package arrived at my house, the box was partially crushed, no fragile stickers, and it was not double boxed. The amplifier was pushed all the way to the side of the box with very little packing material and had visible damage to the case. I have pictures of all this and contacted the UPS store customer service who said they need receipt proof that they packed it. They should already have this. My (the receiver) proof is the box and packing material which could be traced back to their facility and my witness (the shipper) ****** **** who had direct contact with the store manager.

    customer only paid for one box, we were not informed that it would be double box. The scratch that was on the amplifier was there when it was packaged, the customer sending it told us about it. However ive submitted a claim, when approved funds will be sent to the sender
