    I tried to pay my storage unit online on 2/2/2023, and noticed that a fee had been tacked on. I called the Olive ****** location, and spoke with an employee, and she stated that was the ******************* that was added on. Simply Self Storage was provided my Declarations Page on July 8, 2022 that is good for an entire year stating that my storage unit was covered on my policy.There was zero communication from Simply Self Storage regarding any missing documentation. The young female employee said she was unable to help me, and I should call back tomorrow when the manager was in. I said "ok, I'll reforward you the e-mail from July with the time stamp showing you all had the documentation." This is not the first, second, or third time this same issue has happened with this business.2/3/2023, I call back today because I have heard nothing from the manager, and I was told they uploaded my documentation into the system, but I was still responsible for the $12 payment for this month. It's not about the money, it's about the principle. I informed the young lady, that yes you indeed did have the documentation because I forwarded you the e-mail from where it was sent. Why is this all of a sudden an issue in February? I asked to speak to the manager, and she gave me *************************, who I assume is the District Manager's number. I called **** and left a message. Next, I called the corporate number, and again, no one available, so I had to leave a message there as well. This business exemplifies terrible customer service. The onsite manager should have been able to resolve this issue with the proof that I provided them it was their mistake.Now, I'm being sent on a goose chase to get their mistake resolved.

    Hi,

    I spoke with ***************** after she emailed us. I just found out about the BBB complaint. This issue was handled.

     

    She had sent proof of insurance and we did not receive it. However, we did get the insurance proof and corrected her account and credited as needed. ***************** was satisfied and this is no longer an issue.
