    Dear BBB, On May 15th I submitted a request for trimming my beloved Crossvine that I have nurtured for 8 years. I received a proposal from Clipper Tree and accepted the proposal on June 28th. I never received any contact regarding scheduling - I wanted to be there - and came home today to a disaster. I have attached before and after photos along with the proposal and the invoice. Words can not express my displeasure.Regards, ***********************

    Three phone calls were made in an attempt to contact customer to inform her of our scheduled date. 

     

    Regardless, our crew did do more work than what was written for them to do on the contract. The situation has already been discussed with the ******* of the crew and he has been suspended from work pending the results of this complaint. Details to include in this report. (To not be used as justification for the work that was completed) 

    -This is our 5th vine removal job removal in the last month, and the same crew has performed these past services. All of which were complete removal of the vines from the home due to city and county  occupancy inspections and construction/repair work of siding and windows. (Needless to say, our crew just thought it was another vine removal job, but clearly did not read the full scope of work) 

    -The crew informed production manager that the roof behind the chimney was rotten and squishy, and the chimney ****** & roof was damaged from the vines. There are parts of the vines growing through the roof as well behind and around the chimney, and there is mold on the roof.

     

    We do perform a lot of vine removal/eradication jobs, and the crew really just assumed that they were removing all of the vines. 

     

    We are truly sorry for what was done here, and we would like to resolve the complaint and the bad review that has been made. There will be no charge for the services performed, and we would like to plant a 1.5" DBH tree (Customers choice)  at no charge to make up for the mistake of removing all of the vines.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I have chosen an Eastern Redbud as a replacement and would require my presence when planting.
