On 12/17/2024 I mailed out some Christmas Gifts using the guarantee 3 day delivery service. On the 22nd of December I went into the local *** store where I sent the package off from and talked to the manager about the package not being delivered on time and asked if it would be delivered by the 24th aleast, He made some calls and called me stating the package was in ** and would be delivered. Today 30 Dec the package has yet to be delivered so I called 1800*** the overseas operator said the package was still in ** and not sent out yet. So I called the store and asked and the manager again said it was out for delivery and he filed a claim, however the main *** customer service has no record of any claim or tracking of the package other than at the local store *** center here in **.

After researching this shipment again, I see that it has actually been delivered to the recipient, ****** ****** in *******, ** on January 3, 2025 at 10:39 am.  I am attaching documents showing the original shipment details, the Proof of Delivery from *******, a copy of our submission of a claim for this shipment to *********** and their denial of the claim.

Apparently after the package left my facility, another label transferred from a different package onto this package.  When the package was scanned at ***, it scanned the wrong label.  Therefor, the package was delivered to the New York address.  As I told you earlier, the recipient called me and told me he had received the package.  I asked him to mark out or remove the incorrect label and take it to the nearest The *** Store so it can be delivered to the correct recipient.  He did that and once back in the *** system, it was delivered to the original recipient in *************

As you can see from the attached documentation, I did file a claim for the package but *** ******* denied the claim because the package had already been delivered.

As for the guarantee for shipping time, that comes directly from ***, not The *** Store.  *** will not cover the delay in shipping because the label transferred from one package onto this one.  That is something that is outside of ***'s control.

I am sorry the customer's package got delayed but I am happy that the original recipient did the right thing and contacted my store so we were able to the the package back into the *** system and it got delivered.

    Thank you.
