    Service Date was on 8/1/2024 for a total cost of Total cost: $456.24. Business was supposed to order exact chrome covers & install on Sideview mirrors' I was told they would replace existing mirror covers with the exact replacement, but the business did not let me know they were different and proceeded with the installation. During the installation process they damaged existing side view mirrors, it was a Mess and chaos, There was left over adhesive, finger prints, dirt and grime all over the mirrors, door, window and trim, no type of professional cleaning was done after work. I Would have not order new mirror covers had I been told that the replacement mirrors were not the exact ones as the truck had. The business did not try to resolve problem or offer any type of resolution.

    The issues he is talking about did not happen here. The truck is 11 years old and the stains he pointed out were on the inside of the mirror lip and looked like age stains. Ask him to send you pictures. He never said anything about the covers being wrong when he was here. I also never said they would be exact, and he never asked if they were exact when he ordered them. The 2 upper mirror covers were a little different but that's the only supplier I found that had them. Sometimes suppliers change designs years down the road. He also stated we left dirt grime and adhesive everywhere. We worked on the outside of the mirror we weren't near all the areas he's claiming. We removed his old chrome mirror covers and installed new chrome mirror covers that come with 3M double sided tape already on the parts we clean the plastic with rubbing alcohol pad that comes with the part and peel the backing off and install them. So not sure where the adhesive would of came from since we didn't use any. Also how did installing mirror covers get fingerprints, dirty and grime all over the mirrors, doors, windows and trim? I asked him that he said it wasn't like that when he dropped it off. We been in business for 22 years we run ***** cars a day thru this shop things happen, and we make it right, but I truly can tell you none of his complaints happened here. Not sure how I can resolve a problem that never happened here. But I will gladly take everything off that we installed and refund his money. But the only way I will do that is if everyone understands that there were existing mirror covers on his truck originally and that when we remove them the factory mirror cover will have imperfections and dirt and grime and left over tape on them.
