I contracted the Deck Company in June do 2022 they sent me an invoice for a fence and a patio. I paid half the invoice and was told fence would be installed in August the calls started there are delay there crew has run into every reason for more delays. Finally we get down to the Friday before install 10-12 weeks after payment and I was called they mis bid the project it was going to cost me additional 1600.00 I agreed to pay the 1600.00. The fence was installed then I receive the final invoice for 2700.00 plus dollars. I refused to pay the owners wife told me they would come onto my private property and take down the fence. I repeatedly asked for documentation a detailed invoice she just kept getting defensive so obviously so did I. ******** ******* is going to credit me the 1100.00 dollar difference and file an investigation requiring the documents that detail the invoice that’s what I’m asking for a detail invoice breaking down the cost. These documents should reflect gates of June July and August September 2022. I have txt messages from ***** a representative of the company telling me the additional cost will be 1600.00 dollars not 2700.00. Thank you

He paid 50% down of the deposit which means he still owed 50%. He was contacted and offered his money back because there was a mathematical error on the salesman's part. At that time he was informed there would be an additional $1,600 cost in addition to the 50% he still owed. He agreed to this and actually wrote this in his complaint to BBB. I have text messages that support our position I can send to BBB if needed.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

I put 50% down on a patio and a fence I cancelled the patio install because of poor communication and delays to get the fence installed. Check your invoices from June it shows patio and fence.
    Sincerely,
