1 starDo not sign a contract with this gym. They claim they are empowering women through fitness, but really they are preying on women and hope they forget to come in and get charged anyway. They steal and do not take responsibility for their actions. They cannot be reached in anyway once they have wronged you. My gym closed and I was charged a month membership that COULD NOT BE USED. This should be reimbursed, and I made many attempts to contact and have been ignored. They are an inhumane business taking advantage of women who want to better themselves and they should be ashamed and not trusted, no matter which location. They are all trained the same, and the corporate leadership is poor and customer service is nonexistent.Review fromJohn D

1 starThe CEO of this business steals his franchisees business funds and forces them into closure. He has done his to mutiple of his franchise locations and many of them are suing him. After he forces them to close he keeps all of the member's money who paid up front/inful for x number of momnths and those members never get their money back. and the staff that worked up to closure nevers gets paid becuase, again he steals all the business money. Protect yourself, dont sign a contract with this gym, dont work for this gym, and 10000% NEVER pay this gym any amount of money up front becuase it can close without notice and they will not refund you.Review fromColby E

1 starMax G****** is taking a gym focused on empowering women and dragging through the mud. He treats his employees (who work hard and foster wonderful communities) horrifically. Clients, employees and multiple locations are disposable in his eyes. After hiring and losing multiple trainers, increasing rates by 15% and taking jobs from trainers by email at the 133rd Leawood location, he shut it down with only a week’s notice. Members were encouraged to transfer locations but if one is looking to cancel, good luck. With no number to call and no one to visit in person, I’m on my 4th email this month. I’ve asked to cancel repeatedly, and the only two responses I’ve received include encouragement to transfer. I’ve now been charged three more times while I wait on literally anyone to email me back. I’ve filed a dispute with my credit card company. It’s ridiculous that this is the only way to get out of a membership (and my three month contract is up, now I’m just being charged “until I cancel.”) Max G****** is taking advantage of so many and laughing all the way to the bank.Review fromAbigail R

1 starI signed an 18 month contact in September of 2022, ending in March 2024 or so I thought. I have been unable to go to workouts for quite sometime due to some health issues and work schedules. I was patiently waiting for my contract to end and then I was charged in April. I emailed to end my membership and I was told sorry, it auto renews, you are stuck for another 18 months at 108.12 a month. The email responses I am getting are pretty much telling me I need to focus on my workouts and I don’t have 3 hours a week to focus on myself and my health??? It comes across very condescending and bullying. I would not recommend blush bootcamp to anyone. I think they have a very greedy business practice and I plan on sharing my experience with anyone who will listen. DO NOT sign up with this business.Review fromAshley A

1 star8/11/2023 UPDATE Received a call from ******* (I believe a manager) today who stated verbatim, the owner will give you a refund only if you remove your bad review. We dont want to have a review saying we didnt refunded you when we did. Im honestly shocked that this was said to me. I responded saying I would make an addendum to my review thats going to include this conversation. The sheer lack of integrity in this company is very disappointing. At the end of the conversation, ******* asked if they refunded me three months instead of my original two months, would I consider removing my review and I said no. ******* said she was going to call the owner and let me know. I feel like I wont be hearing back from them. Its not about the money anymore. First threatening/intimidation and now bribery, just sickening business practices. Id like to point out that if the conversation started off as apologetic and they asked if ** reconsider me removing/ making an addendum to my review once refunded, I wouldve been okay with that. But for someone to say we wont refund you unless you take down your bad review, thats just appalling. PLEASE PLEASE stay away from this company.Workouts are great! ****** is an awesome trainer!! Management is definitely lacking. If you ever want to cancel your membership and do all the correct steps as stated in the contract you signed, you will still be charged. Response time is slow. No decent to call you back. They had difficulty finding my contract and sent the wrong one stating it was mine but it wasnt. I feel like they do not care about anything but the money and getting new members trapped. I really enjoyed my time here but this whole situation has left a bad impression on me. They are definitely not showing a loyal costumer of almost a year any respect or decency. They are hoping you dont check your accounts or have the tenacity to deal with back and forth emails for weeks. I do NOT recommend joining any BLUSH boot camp.Review fromTraci W

1 starI signed up with an ************************************** rate. 8 months in, I received an email stating that my current rate does not "reflect the value of the experience that we offer. This rate increase is only being applied to those memberships with rates that are below the current standards for the club." When I tried to reach out to their corporate location, NO RESPONSE! Nothing in the contract that I signed, stated they reserve the right to increase the rate without notification. I have requested to be released from the contract if they are not going to honor theirs, again with NO RESPONSE. This is a shady business model and they want to nickel and dime you for everything. You miss a class because you couldn't make it, $15. You miss a meeting, $15. This is not a business that caters to moms or women who have external expectations. The sad part is, I love the training staff and the energy the women provide who workout their. Unfortunately, the two DO NOT LINE UP! Find a gym that not only supports your fitness needs but stands behind their contracts and doesn't do the "bait and switch" during your contracted time.Review fromShira B.

1 starI would not recommend blush boot camp to anyone. They made it almost impossible for me to terminate my membership, it is a scam. Blush Boot Camp ******* told me they did not have access to cancel my membership and I would have to email cooperate. I emailed them on 1/1/23 and never got a response. I called several different locations to try and get ahold of someone that could help me cancel my membership. They would not provide me with a phone number. I finally got a response at the end of January after being very persistent.Review fromXx K.

1 starWhen I first joined they had a 3:30pm class. I signed up for the contract membership and maybe 4 months into my membership they removed that class. That was the one class I could go to as my husband went into work at 5pm and that gave me 30 minutes to get home. I spoke to someone that worked there and they said a manager would get back to me which never happened. Life got busy, i never reached out because I felt like ****, Im stuck in a contract and they already have my money so what can I do, especially seeing everyone else have issues with their contracts I didnt have high hopes. I tried again because I was told they were under better management and it was a no. Thats a little more than ***** dollars gone and wasted when they removed that class. The trainers that were there were amazing. The people I met were amazing. Thats about the only good things I can say about this place as I havent met the new management that came in July because once again, that 3:30 class was taken away. Ive heard nothing but amazing things about the other blush locations. Its the lees summit location that has issues. Very expensive mistake which Ill never do again is sign up for a gym contractReview fromBailey T

1 starI wish I could leave a negative star review. I signed up with BLUSH bootcamp ************* right when they opened in September of 2021. I complained about the head trainer at the time to corporate about being singled out on the blush floor in November 2021. She happens to also be the owner. I found out by a 3rd party that my email was forwarded to the other owner and then the owner took it upon herself to send my email out to her trainer's at the gym making fun of me. I found this out and sucked it up because I didn't want to give them a bunch of money to get out of my contract. Corporate didn't really do much at all. We relocated for work for my husband's job so I decided to leave a negative review. Yeah, they didn't like that. I was blocked from their business ******** page and was just randomly blocked from their newest locations page. I'm not the first one to feel this way. I just have enough guts to leave a real review and not sugar coat anything. I loved working out there. Having childcare being offered was a plus, but the owners of the ************* location and now *******, ******** location are terrible.
