  I got three bids to insulate the ceiling of my garage and I chose koala. Im glad I did. I was completely satisfied with their work. They arrived on time, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves very well. They went beyond what was expected of them and I was very happy with their work. I highly recommend them.

  Koala was responsive, professional, and did a fantastic job getting our outside wall insulated from the temperatures! We won't have to worry about extreme cold any longer!

  Buyer beware with Koala Insulation Gateway West (Koala). Little customer concern, questionable business practices, and cost me money. Below is my story.For attic insulation, I called 3 companies. Two completed estimates, Koala was the third. Koala went into my attic to do the estimate like the others, and one estimator caused ceiling damage in our bedroom. The acoustic popcorn ceiling broke through and I had a 6 x 2 oblong hole in our ceiling. Insulation came down in our bedroom. The Koala estimator immediately stated that they did not step through the ceiling, started to point out how the joists flex and how unsafe our attic is, saying its not their fault and blamed the house construction. She immediately no bidded the job due to unsafe condition for their workers because they are heavier and would cause more damage.I contacted the Koala owner with expectations of customer concern. Her response was an offer of a few hundred dollars, stating its not their fault based on what their estimators said, their pics, their videos (that she WOULD NOT SHARE with me) and doubling down on how our attic is not safe, leaving me on my own for the hassle and total cost of the repair!Professional contractors inspected my attic, they said all is good. Contractors bid on the repair, all stated someone stepped through the ceiling & the joists, and the construction is fine. I had the ceiling patched with added expenses to complete the job. Koala cost me approximately $1,700. Another insulation company will blow-in the insulation.The Koala owner did raise her offer to pay $500, but with a 3 page legal Agreement, It asked me to sign as the releasing party releasing Koala of any wrongdoing and preventing me to post reviews on my unfavorable experience and costs incurred as a result of their work. I did not accept the agreement. I submit this review to BBB with hope that no one else will have a similar business experience with Koala Insulation Gateway West.
