    Sent an email to return an ebook got one response then they just never responded after that. Then, sent a second email to them and no response. They need to work on their customer service because as of right now, it is a complete joke.

    They sent me the wrong books for my classes so I immediately returned them the next day. They decided the most expensive book was "damaged" and refused to refund.

    Sent a book buyback in I paid A LOT for. They said Id receive $15. I sent it in a good fair condition. There was no bent pages, no stains, and no scuffed edges. I packed it in a box with air bubble wrap so it wouldn't move around. And when I got an email saying it arrivedthey labeled it as damaged. Which means I wont get any money for it. Its absolutely infuriating and I will NOT be using this service again. Its a rip off and a scam for every college student out there.

    I looked into your shipment and our receiving department noted that there was a small amount of water damage on the corner of the book. I have asked our pricing team to go ahead and pay out the buyback quoted amount of $15.00. The reason we do not purchase or resell water damaged books is because bacteria and mold can grow on them and we do not want to sell a customer a book in that condition. It's possible that it happened in transit, which is not within our scope of control, but we have decided to go ahead and pay you for the book. I want to assure you that we care very much about our customers and the quality of books they receive from us.

    Ordered textbooks in a rental format so that there was a promised book buyback. However, it is all a sham as all 12 of my textbooks are now showing as not available for return.

    I should have known to check other sites before purchasing from them but as this was an access code to software I needed for a class, I bit the bullet because it was presented as something exclusively available through my school as they were listed as the publisher. As it turns out, once I go to the page listed in the instructions to access it, the software company is selling the same thing for nearly $20 less. Effectively, the access code I purchased was simply a voucher that is redeemed at checkout...so I paid more to cover for something that's worth less. The only caveat to their digital return policy (in their FAQs and directly on the product listing) is that once the code is revealed or accessed in any way, it's non-refundable. I did neither and was still denied because the specific software I needed is excluded - which is NEVER stated anywhere that can be accessed by customers, including the product page. I was told no price match because "digital prices fluctuate often" (as if physical products don't do this as well) and no refunds because the system simply denies it, with no further recourse despite being misled AND their policies being stated incorrectly. I've worked the service industry for over a decade and their customer "service" is an absolute joke -- they have canned responses and most of the time (if you manage to wrangle their "busy" reps down) it's just to offer empty apologies for inconveniences caused and when I asked for a feedback survey, they gave me a broken link. Their transcript button is also trash so if you're trying to document anything, it's impossible. I'd save the trouble of interacting with this company at all and just search for everything you need elsewhere -- there's nothing you can't get somewhere else for cheaper and with better service. Let my stolen $20 save your hard-earned money and future headaches.
