Datasource tried to force me to sign a contract with them that had wrong information about me and was favorable to their business, but not me. It could have opened me up to liabilities and they told me if I didn't sign it, they would shut me off from their services, which is extortion. Additionally, they denied me access to services that I had already paid for. They also recorded phone calls without my permission or consent.

    Dear **** ***********
We appreciate your feedback and understand your concerns regarding the necessity of signing our service agreement and the temporary disablement of your account. Client satisfaction is of utmost importance to us, and we want to address concerns thoroughly.

We strive to keep our service agreement current and up to date with appropriate laws and regulations in our industry.  We approached your company to get a renewed, updated service agreement signed. After three weeks with your refusal to sign, while also berating our staff, led to no other option than suspension of your service.  We want to emphasize that it is an essential component of our commitment to transparency, compliance, and professionalism. Our service agreement outlines the terms and conditions of our services, ensuring clarity, accountability, and protection for both parties involved. By signing the agreement, clients acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of our terms, contributing to a mutually beneficial relationship.

Failure to comply with these regulations not only poses risks to our business but also compromises the trust and security of our clients and consumers.  Furthermore, access has been provided to all reports rendered before suspension.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We value your feedback and remain dedicated to providing exceptional service while upholding the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.

    Sincerely,
****** *****, Vice President, Datasource Background Screening Services, ************

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: you violated the agreement we signed to begin services. That contract states that you can only suspend services with 60 day notice.  Additionally, you NEVER gave us a correct contract. For 3 weeks you tried to extort us into signing a contract that stated a false industry that we were not in.  Had we signed that, we would have immediately violated the agreement and been subject to penalties.

Furthermore, your staff was disrespectful to me and that is all documented in email.  If you choose not to reinstate our services for 60 days per the agreement, we will initiate legal action as you have damaged our business by not fulfilling the agreement.  Additionally, the reason I was told that you stopped services was because I wrote a bad ****** review.  That is not a legal reason to stop services and in fact, there is nothing in that review that is not factual and everything can be documented as such.  Even more, at no time did anyone communicate that if we did not sign, you were going to stop services.  Seeing your rep ******* said you didn't have our phone number, which is total BS, then only email communication will be considered admissible in court.

Turn us on for 60 days per the agreement and we will find another provider.  If you do not do that by 5PM April 19, 2024, we will pursue legal action detailing your contract breaches and associated damages.  We will also be pursuing your illegal recording of call, which in Missouri require the party to acknowledge.

    Sincerely,

    **** **********
