  Clear Cut Exteriors were great to work with from day *******************, the sales rep/project really went the extra mile to gain our business and get our questions answered. He worked closely with the insurance company to insure adjustments and payment in a timely manner.. The roofing team did a great job, both with the roof, gutters, and clean-up. No complaints! Highly recommend!

  BAD EXPERIENCE: Naive homeowners new to contacting needs BEWARE! As new homeowners we experienced a bad hail storm which resulted in a totaled roof. We had never done this and didn’t know where to turn. We were given the contact information for Clear Cut Xteriors and here is where our nightmare starts. The representative comes out to our home in Wisconsin and is very knowledgeable so we never doubted we’d have trouble. As a company established in 2019 there aren’t reviews out there, which is the reason I’m taking time to write this, so no one else makes the same mistake we did. We live is Wisconsin, the representative has a Minnesota contract that we were provided. We were told they have an 8 man crew and the roof could be completed in a few hours. We were also told all our flowers and rock around our house would be tarped to protect them. The wrong color drip edging was delivered but the representative didn’t think to postpone the roof work. A crew of 3 show up July 13 to replace our roof, the tarps remained folded near a tree in our yard but never place over the flower and rock surrounding our house. The crew finally drove away after 9pm leaving behind multiple nails, cigarettes and trash. On 3 more different occasions someone was out to clean up since there were so many nails. The final person finding softball size amount of additional nails. As parents of children and pet owner this was alarming, but still it seemed like they were trying. Fast forward to August 21 and we still do not have drip edging, communication with representative has become further in between one time there’s an estimated delivery date the next there isn’t. That’s when we reached out to get a second opinion, which would lead to more of our headache. There is a soft spot on the roof that was never addressed during repairs, there are 15-20 shingles with little to no granules, multiple shingles applied diagonal, they removed the old drip edging from 2 sides of our house.
