  Tim told us he likes to prepare his customers for the worst and explained that a portion of our landscaping timbers may get “a little banged up” and we may end up with “a couple of ruts” in our yard due to wet weather; we told him we were OK with that because we were having a new septic system installed in the spring in that portion of the yard. We have had multiple no shows with so many excuses he cannot keep his story straight. He has destroyed a large portion of our yard on two sides of our house to the point our septic contractor is concerned the ground is compacted to the point of compromising the new mound location, and he completely tore down a retaining wall with his equipment. He started cutting branches off of our neighbor’s tree and If I wouldn’t have been home to intervene, he would have also caused severe damage my neighbor’s yard. There were many times during our conversations where he would randomly say “I’m not drunk” or something similar and on two separate occasions called me at night, being very loud and aggressive, yelling at me once because the day before, the septic contractor had asked that he drive his tractor around the right side of a tree instead of the left to avoid any more damage to the mound site (he was present the day before and was fine with the request), and the other time to yell at me about the weather and to let me know we were not his only customer. I saw this man urinating on our driveway twice. I also watched him attempt to back his trailer into my driveway after dark, unable to keep it straight and backed it up onto the yard and ran over a pile of branches, unhooked the trailer, got in his truck, got back out, hooked the trailer up and left with it. On three other occasions, he would bring equipment in the morning unhook it, and the hook it back up and leave without doing any work. After 8 weeks, the clean-up has never been completed. When I told Tim I would be reviewing his company, he tried to bribe me with $100 not to.

  Ive never treated so terrible by a professional company as I have by Goettl tree service LLC ************ was removing my neighbors trees and dropped a large log on my roof which damaged my garage roof, busted the rafter and the plywood on the roof. They damaged the landscaping and the fence. When I called to ask what they would like to do about it they owner, *** said he was busy but that hed have a guy come take a look at it and have it fixed. After not hearing back for a week I called him and after one of his employees dropped and log on my landscaping and hit my fence in 3 different places breaking it. I ask if it may just be easier at this point to just go through insurance to get it fixed since there was so much. damage. *** started raising his voice and yelling, saying, get it out of GD head. He told me he was sick of me complaining while using a lot of foul language and saying, I said Id take care of it.After being yelled at for a few minuets his employee came over with a handy man and asked me to show him the damage and that theyd fix it. After showing him the damage I went to check on my kids and at the end of the day when I went to check on the damge nothing was fixed and they had torn a tile off of my roof ceiling exposing the damaged rafter and plywood.By Now its been a couple weeks without any word back from him. Im going through my own insurance now but will have to pay the deductible. Its been a hassle and caused me a lot of anxiety. I wish that people could be more honest. I wouldnt hire this company unless theyre cutting a tree down in the middle of a field. If you decide to use them make sure you get their insurance information before they start the work.
