    We had ************** come to our house to look at a small settlement crack. They determined they would have to break out the concrete floor and inspect drain tile, and route water to sump pump. We gave them $200 as a down payment for the work on 11/4/2022. We informed them on 11/12/2022 we decided NOT to go ahead with the job on 12/5. They told us they would NOT refund us our money but instead keep it if we decided to proceed with the job.I informed them on 12/9/2022 that we wanted our money back since they did not perform any service for us and if we did not hear from them by 12/16/2022 I would be filing a complaint with the BBB. We have heard nothing from them.

    Hello,

    I was notified on 12/12/22 that the homeowners requested for a refund of their down payment.  Our contract does state that the 10% down payment is non-refundable.  However, after reviewing the project I authorized a refund of the $200 down payment.  I spoke with our accounting department and they issued a check and mailed it to the homeowner on 1/4/23.  I apologize that the refund wasn't sent immediately.
