on Saturday march 22 my vehicle was booted with a parking permit visible ( front right side of the dash) where I was fined 60 USD to remove it. I expanded that I need to get to my sister's funeral so please make it quick (I have to admit I overshared a bit saying that she OD) but , I was hung up on once. when I called back to re-explain my extenuating circumstances, I was told it was my fault that my sister committed suicide. After that remark form a supervisor, I started to cry and was then told that I needed to calm down and act like an adult. And its is not her job to figure out how I can get to my funeral.

I live at an apartment complex currently and have to pay for parking. i pay for covered parking in a specific spot witch my license plate is linked too. we had a unfortunate incident happen where someone threw a cup at our windshield and shattered it where the parking pass was. we had gotten it replaced and brought it home let our complex know that we needed a new sticker. and parked in our spot that we had gotten full permission to park in from our complex while we waited for our new pass. within 30 minutes of being back our vehicle got booted. witch of course is now wrongfully booted. we called the company and said they couldnt do anything and that we had to email and wait 24 hour. (mind you during all this im very sick and can barley breathe, was about to be taken to the emergency room) they emailed back and told us they couldnt do anything and that we had to call the number back that had already given us the email address. so i called again let them know. they said they still couldnt do anything and i had to email again. i emailed again. and put in full description of everything. having permission from our complex, waiting for our pass. i called the complex as well and agreed that i should not have been booted when i had permission. they then emailed me back and said that i have to pay the fee even tho they messed up? wrongfully booted me? when i had permission from my complex? when i parked in the same spot i have payed for, for months. while also being on the verge of being taken to the hospital. this is very unprofessional manner on their end, and with all the factors involved high action will be taken against this company. read reviews about them, they do it to everyone and just get away with it. this should be illegal.

This company put a barnacle on my sons car, while he was legally parked at his apartment building, *******. Even though his parking pass was on the dashboard and visible, this company puts a barnacle over your windshield, and then hold your car hostage until they extort $160 from you. if you dont believe me, look at their yelp reviews and look at their ******** page reviews. There are many stories that are exactly like my sons. Once they have successfully extorted the $160 from you, 100 of it is supposed to be refunded to you after they safely receive the barnacle back, except they dont always return the hundred dollars. There seem to be no checks and balances with this company and no one holding them accountable. I have already contacted WZZMTV 13 on your side and will be continuing to pursue this matter, hopefully with your help as well!Thank you in advance for your consideration, and helping with this matter! Please go and read their reviews and stories of similar issues from **** students.

My son, who is a college student at ****, lives at Campus View Apartments in Allendale. He was borrowing our car while his was being repaired and went to get a parking pass from Campus View and place it on his dashboard, as required. Absolute Security didn't see the pass and barnacled our car so he had to pay $160 to have it removed, even though he proved later to them that he had acquired a pass. This is exploitive. Even more unacceptable was the fact that when I called to speak to a manager to discuss this, I was told that managers "can't be reached by phone" and I could only email them. I told them I would wait until they were available and the lady told me they are never available to talk on the phone. A manager that doesn't talk on a phone? That seems like a very poor practice. This business is abusive in their dealings with the low-income residents at Campus View and unethical in their non-responsiveness to complaints.

There has been an ongoing problem with this company that does security for my apartment complex and many others. They are taking advantage of college students and young adults not being able to fight for themselves. This company is costing my family and many others money out of our own pockets for their mistakes. If you are to read their reviews online it will tell the story itself. They will not give you an address to go to and they lie on the phone. They have been rude and childish to the point of making my significant other break down in tears.
