    Charged me for a new battery and starter motor that I had already purchased and installed myself. The battery I purchased from the local tractor supply prior to them picking up tractor. They basically did nothing to tractor but,charged me for new parts.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    This was at the end of the season last year, battery was purchased from tractor supply and starter motor was purchased from your store, a friend installed the motor,I installed the battery, Mower was picked up by you returned by you stating a new battery and starter motor were installed. We know that’s untrue. I’m a 24/7 caregiver, I’m not searching for a receipt, just know I know your business practices are anything but honest

    I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS COMPLAINT.  WE HAVE NOT DEALT WITH THIS CUSTOMER SINCE MAY OF 2023.  WE ARE NOT IN THE HABIT OF CHARGING CUSTOMERS FOR PARTS THAT ARE NOT NEED.  AND WE DO NOT GUARANTEE A REPAIR FOR A YEAR.  IF THE UNIT IS NOT OPERATING THIS YEAR,  SO MANY THINGS CAN CAUSE THE PROBLEM.  THE BIGGEST CAUSE IS ETHANOL IN THE GAS.

    HAVE NO IDEA WHY CUSTOMER WAITED A YEAR TO COMPLAIN

    Gallant & Son gave us estimate on picking up & delivering our riding lawn more for $25. They were asked to get & change 2 left rear tires. When job was finished bill was $131 + delivery, we were under impression it was $25. Job was for 2 new left tires. F& S we’re very late returning finished mower by over a week. We continued to call for updates. We were told they had no one available to deliver. When we finally got mower they did not do work asked. Only put new tube in 1 tire, sharpened blades (didn’t need). Then charged us $80 for pickup & delivery for 5 mile trip! When my wife called, she was called a liar, lady threatened to sue us for $11 we still owe & then hung up phone on my wife for asking questions about bill. Very rude & disrespectful to us as customers. We were ripped off of $200 for a job we did not hire them to do. We did not get what we paid for & still G&S threatened to take us to small claims court for $11 even though job was not done properly. We want a refund of $50 for over charging on delivery & not doing job requested. We just want what’s fair.

    WE HAVE NEVER QUOTED ANYONE $25.00 FOR PICKUP AND DELIVERY.  OUR FEE WITHIN ****** AREA HAS BEEN $80.00 SINCE OUR LABOR RATE WAS RAISED 2 YEARS AGO FROM 75-$80.00 PER HOUR.  WE WERE TOLD TIRE WAS OFF THE RIM, NOT THAT HE WANTED 2 TIRES REPLACED.  HE LATER  TOLD MY DAUGHTER TO SHARPEN THE BLADES IF NEEDED.  WE STARTED THE REPAIR ON 09/06/2022.  CALLED CUSTOMER ON 09/08/2022 TTO ARRANGE DELIVERY.  LEFT VOICE MESSAGE. CUSTOMER FIANALLY CALLED US ON 09/14/2022.  TALKED TO OUR MECHANIC .  HE WAS TOLD TIRES WERE IN GOOD SHAPE.  JUST NEEDED TUBE IN ONE TIRE BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT SEAL.  WE DID WHAT WAS REQUESTED BY CUSTOMER AND TOLD HIM WE WOULD RETURNTO HIM ON THURS 09/15/2022 WHICH WE DID.

    MR **** ASKED ME IF HE COULD PAY $200.00 ON DELIVERY AND THE BALANCE OF $11.92 LATER.  I TOLD HIM WE COULD NOT DO THAT.  MY DAUGHTER DECIDED WE SHOULD AND MR **** PROMISED TO PAY THE BALANCE ON 09/25/2022 TO WHICH HE AGREED. 

    WE HAD NEVER CONVERSED WITH MRS **** AT ALL UNTIL 09/16/2022 WHEN SHE CALLED DISPUTING THE AMOUNT FOR PICKUP AND DELIVERY. MRS **** WAS NOT CALLED A "LIAR". WAS ONLY TOLD WE NEVER HAVE TOLD ANYONE $25.00 FOR P AND D.  SHE THEN STARTED YELLING AND SAID SHE WAS CALLING BBB AND NOT PAYING THE BALANCE OWED.  MY DAUGHTER DID TELL HER WE COULD FILE A SMALL CLAIMS CASE ON MR ****.  MRS **** CONTINUED AT WHICH TIME MY DAUDHTER DID HANG UP ON HER

    CUSTOMER DID GET ALL HE REQUESTED AT OUR EVERYDAY RATES AND WE SAVED HIM A LOT OF MONEY BY NOT INSTALLING TIRES.
