After Liberty Pure repacked our neutralizer tank, our water looked like raw sewage. Liberty Pure's plumber attributed the problem to the way Liberty Pure installed the tank a year earlier. Billing department told us it wasn't Liberty Pure's fault and charged us for the service. A year ago, Liberty Pure replaced our acid neutralizer tank with a larger one. This year, we hired Liberty Pure to repack the tank. When we turned on a faucet immediately after Liberty Pure's tech left, water looked like raw sewage--cloudy, gray-brown, left a layer of grit in the tub and sink. Ran water for two hours. No change. When we bypassed the neutralizer tank, water quickly became clear. Plumber from Liberty Pure arrived promptly the next morning. He said when the larger tank was installed by Liberty Pure, the amount of water used to backwash the tank and the amount of backwash time was not changed. Therefore, he said, the tank had not been adequately backwashed for a year, causing sediment to accumulate. He adjusted the backwash. I told him I would not pay for the repack because Liberty Pure installed the tank incorrectly but was paid in full for the installation. The plumber observed that there was an unrelated slow leak in our pressure tank. He offered to replace it for a reduced fee since he was already there. We agreed to pay this fee and he replaced the pressure tank. Now, weeks later, a layer of gray-brown grit still forms at the bottom of a glass if our water is allowed to sit. When I called about my invoice, I was told they would not waive the fee for the neutralizer repack because it was performed properly. The woman I spoke to told me the sediment was caused by the slow leak in our pressure tank and therefore was not Liberty Pure's fault. After a prolonged argument, she grudgingly offered me a "discount" on the neutralizer repack. We paid just to be done with them.

We charged $300 for a new well tank (installed by another company) and repacking the neutralizer. Listened to all calls and reviewed data, I apologize we couldn’t meet your satisfaction. Our hot water heater broke at 1030am. We contacted Liberty Pure and they came out right away with a new hot water heater in early afternoon and installed it. We had hot water again by early evening! Rick and Nick were extremely professional and efficient. We highly recommend Liberty Pure Solutions for fast, fair and professional service.
