We were overcharged at a vulnerable time! *** will no longer put coolant in our system. We knew what the issue was and asked for 2 lbs of coolant to be added. The price was $780. I find this to be outrageous. We know that the unit we have is not going to last beyond the next year or so. I feel the vendor has overcharged because they can. When I called, all the Customer Service Rep could say that I need to know it is very expensive.

I have a whole house humidifier built into my central heating system. It was not getting water. The Tech didn't even look at the failed component. Instead, he wrote a quote for parts (wrong part number) that were not required and multipled the $120 cost by 10. I fixed the failure myself by clearing the calcified/clogged supply valve. The line and humidifier were fine and system is working again. I explained to the company and the representative told me it was leaking and discounted all my assertions. They were useless liars. Their ad about not trying to sell you things you don't need is BS.

I called Amazing HVAC because my Condenser unit was tripping the breaker every hour or so. They sent a salesmen out who told me that he couldn’t Identify the issue but could send a Tech that would 100% identify it and the troubleshooting would cost $99. I was hesitant paying a flat service fee but most HVAC companies seem to be doing that these days so I agreed to the $99 charge. I was at work when the tech arrived so I spoke with him through my wife’s phone. He told me that the two pole 20 amp breaker has a loose connection and that it likely went bad. I happen to be have been an electrician for the Air Force for over a decade and I was a member of the Local 24 in Baltimore as well. I am also an electrical project manager for the Maryland Air National Guard and have quoted hundreds of electrical projects. I explained to the tech that the breaker had been replaced while I was deployed 6 months ago and he assured me there were burn marks where it had been arcing and that it would have to be replaced to continue troubleshooting. I hesitantly agreed but asked how much to replace the breaker. He told me $472.00. TO REPLACE A BREAKER!! I told him I wouldn’t pay it. That I would pay the $15 for the breaker at home depot and replace it in 5 mins on my lunch break. He said they would still be charging the $99. One of the owners or managers spoke with me shortly after and tried to explain how I don’t understand running a business. (I’m also a small business owner.) Just because you mismanage your business’s finances doesn’t mean you should prey on your customers. Imagine if I didn’t know better and agreed to pay over $600 just to find out my AC is STILL NOT FIXED. He eventually offered to send a tech back if the breaker was not the issue. Guess what… I changed the breaker … found there was no burn marks and the original breaker was indeed fine. But I don’t want your crooked company anywhere near my home. I’d rather hire someone with fair pricing and morales.

This company tries to rip off customer's pockets. It is also a scammer. Initially, my furnace is working except low in refrigerant. I called this company to come in diagnostic. The tech had no clue what was wrong. I mention to him that something is leaking according to another company advised. He then said, "oh yes, I think so too". He then gave me a quote for the coils worth of $2700. I asked him "is it ok just replace just the coils without replace inside and outside units". His name is Chris. He assures me that just replace the coils outside unit will taking care the leak issue. He told me that it is not necessary to replace both inside and outside. He said he is guaranteed me that after I replace the coils. it is going to take care the issue of leaking and I will never have to refill the refrigerant again for more than 10 years and ever. He also tried to sale me a ton of baloney stuff and services that I do not need. I paid the monthly comfort club $15 a month but every time I schedule a day or time to do maintenance. They always have a ton of excuses. Last week, when I called them to come performing the maintenance and check the inside unit. The tech came and his name was Andre. He told me there is a leak again. He told me the initial tech wasn't diagnose correctly the issue and he also advised me that when they installed the replacement coils, they did not fill enough refrigerant. Now, my furnace is extremely low in refrigerant. I asked the refund due to their mistakes. They even want me to pay for $12,000 again because they said I need a new furnace both inside and outside. Interesting! This all means, they scam me for $15000 for no reason to pay for their employees doing lousy jobs and lack of knowledge. They are out of their mind. They think customers just pay money for them to keep their business survive. They also think that they can take advantage of customers. Please stay far and extremely far away from this company.
