Grunts displayed poor, disjointed and deceptive business practices. Numerous confusing quotes over a number of days that produced price quotes all over the spectrum. From $2500, to $4500 to $3500. Once they had my credit card number they proceeded to charge a total of $6128...Absurd. Oh and BTW, without my specific consent for each charge... 2 in quick succession. This for a 12 mile move, adjoining towns, ********** to *****, **. When I tried to work with them they just sang their song that moving expenses are never fixed and can vary. Well, they sure can be with this company. Buyer beware of these movers.

All of this is a lie from our customer's father, who wishes the facts were different than reality. There was nothing "poor, disjointed or deceptive". This full-service pack and move went exactly as our customer, this reviewer's daughter, wanted it to go. Now she won't return our calls and he, who didn't have all the information to begin with, wants us to "settle" and is trying to extort almost $1200 from us
through bad reviews because he thinks the facts should be different.

This review is from the customer's father, with whom customer decided not to share all the information (per her statement on a recorded call). We gave her an estimate, clearly separating the estimated charges for a day of packing and then a day of moving. She booked both days, and her father (who wrote this review) called to give us his credit card number for the services. She said to us she would try to pack as much as she could to lessen the overall cost. She received a confirmation email for each day, and then 2 reminder emails for each day as the pack/move dates approached. These included estimated costs. As it turns out, she packed almost nothing, so we ended up *providing packing materials* AND packing just about the entire 3 bedroom house on the first day, as per the plan, in case she didn't get to pack much. Luckily we had 5 guys, instead of the estimated 3, so we were able to get it done. We then charged the card for that day, as per our policy to charge at the end of the day for work done that day. We didn't charge for the 5th guy so some of the work was done at no additional cost to the customer. We then, per the plan, went back the 2nd day to complete the move. We got it done to her satisfaction, and charged the credit card he gave us for the work done that day. So the card was not charged in succession, but rather about 24 hours apart, 2 charges for 2 FULL days of work (18 hours total). The total for the 2 days came in  EXACTLY where the initial estimate indicated it would. I will repeat that: The total for the 2 days came in  EXACTLY where the initial estimate indicated it would.

(I have the initial estimate email sent to the customer, recorded phone calls, text approvals, email confirmations and invoice signatures, and will send if possible, but I'm not seeing a place for docs here).
