    I recently hired *************************, owner and CEO of Joshs Home Improvement in January, 2024 to find and repair some apparent leaks on my roof. Water was coming in at the windows. Unfortunately, my experience with him ended up being nothing short of a nightmare. I am elderly and live in a mobile home. He was recommended by someone I trust.First and foremost, he did a sloppy, unprofessional job and then when I called him on it (i.e. original leak was NOT fixed) instead of fixing the existing issues, it seems he decided to create even more damage! Upon inspection by a reputable roofing company, it was discovered that not only did Joshs Home Improvement fail to address the initial problems, but he actually caused additional damage to my roof. ******************* identified numerous, major issues with the work done by Joshs Home Improvement.To make matters worse, when I reached out to the owner, *************************, seeking reimbursement for what I paid him (i.e. same leak same place), he displayed a shocking lack of integrity by ghosting me for several weeks. When he finally contacted me, he showed up and proceeded to drive 6-8 asked him for a portion of the money I paid him back and he ignored me. So now I will have to take him to small claims court or file a police report for the property damage he caused.Overall, my experience with Joshs Home Improvement was beyond disappointing. His lack of professionalism, integrity, and competence left me with a damaged roof and a ******************* for repairs that should never have been necessary in the first place. I strongly advise anyone considering his services to steer clear and find a more reputable and trustworthy contractor. Buyer beware indeed. He took $1200 for the disarray he caused. I had to pay someone else to fix what he did!!
