January 10, 2022 paid invoice #****** $3,500.00 as a deposit for ** units and installation. This deposit paid for a 3.5 ton ** system with the balance of $3050.00 remaining for duct work and labor. ***************************** delivered ** units. Per our agreement, I assisted with the installation of units, setting them in place, in the attic and the condenser outside at the agreed upon location. ***************************** then came to my home to assess the location of the units and remeasure for duct work. He left stating that he would come back the following week to start the installation of the duct tubing and tie in of the ** unit. After 1 week I had not heard back from ****** and then tried to contact him via phone call/voicemail, text and ******** messenger. ****** never returned my calls and I never heard from him again. After weeks not being able to successfully contact ******, I then secured another contractor to complete the job. When he assessed the units delivered by ******, he informed me that the unit that was ordered was in fact a 3.0 ton unit and not 3.5 ton unit that I had paid for. I would like to report this business for unethical conduct and prevent others from having this same experience.

    Good afternoon,

This work was not done under the company ICM Mechanical and Controls,LLC so therefore I would like this complaint removed against my company. As **** stated I was starting work at is home and I provided him with an invoice that had itemized breakdowns for materials and labor. This invoice/agreement was never signed prior to any work being done. After dealing with personal issues I was forced to walk away from this job and others at the time. The deposit I was given was for the ** equipment only that I had drop off and put in place just like it showed on the invoice. As far as the unit I order a 3.5 ton and when equipment was delivered I never double checked the size of it. I am willing to issue a refund of $450 to cover the difference between the 3 and 3.5 ton units to make it right.
