    I purchased a softub spa model 220 in April 2024. It was installed approximately a month or so later. It had a defective heating element (hydromate) that controls the operation of the spa. I contacted them and they sent out a replacement unit. It also is defective, bear in mind you have to empty the spa and wait several days to a week to see if its working correctly. I called again and Spoke to a manager named ***** and asked for a refund as my confidence in the product working for a long time is non existent. I specifically asked my salesman if they had any issues with the circuit boards before I bought it and he assured me that these problems were a vendor problem that they have corrected. I have been waiting 3 working days for a response from ***** about a refund but have not heard anything back , she said she would call by end of day today July 9 This unit has been defective since day one and I want a refund.

    Softub always has and always will back and support it's product by honoring the warranty. In this instance, the warranty has been honored and a potentially new issue was being diagnosed and was in the process of being handled. In a showing of good faith and support, Softub has been communicating with the customer and an amicable resolution has been offered and accepted.
