      Fortunately I have no experience with G Mellos business practices. Unfortunately I do have experience with the companies character and employees. After a delayed 24 hour flight home from vacation, my wife, 1 year old son and I were on 495N driving home during a snow storm with not many cars on the road. We were behind a G Mello truck in the opposite lane when a wooden pallet flew off the truck that I couldnt avoid and ran it over. The driver, who turned out to be the companys safety officer **** *******, tried to loose us and pulled into the rest stop. I was able to get over and back into the rest stop. When he saw that I stopped he tried to get back on the highway. I was able to stop him and we exchanged information which I thought was sufficient enough. Later that night I had the car towed to have the flat ties and undercarriage repaired. On Monday I spoke with **** and he said he had put in a claim with the insurance company. After speaking with the adjuster, he said **** said nothing came from his truck and its his word over mine and I would be responsible for the repairs. After calling G Mello and speaking to the manager ********, who made sure I was aware that they never said that something may not have come from their truck, changed her story the next day. After weeks of communication with ******** and trying to get reimbursed from the company, she refused and said we are only going through insurance, but their insurance would not pay out because they lied and said nothing came from there truck. Its been almost a year and still irritates me that I was to pay for these repairs G Mello damaged. There are 2 lessons that learned, 1) always call the police after an accident 2) G Mellos safety officer and Manager are liars and could care less about endangering a family with an infant. Worst of the worst
