    We called **** at Horticultural Concepts to help us transition our front yard toward a usable space following the removal of a large privet hedge bordering the yard. Mikes thoughtful and knowledgeable approach was evident even in the early stages of our communications. He recommended a great temporary solution to make our yard look less scarred following our first phone call. When he came to our home, he spent time examining the house from all angles, listening carefully to our goals, and discussing ideas with us. His suggestions really helped us think differently about our yard in several ways. We hadnt thought about using plants to create spaces to meet different needs for an outdoor living space. We also hadnt considered ways to maximize the beauty of our home by visually separating it from the homes around us. Finally, the idea of breaking out of symmetry to create spaces that met our outdoor living needs. We greatly appreciated Mikes insights and vision. He is a delight to work with, creative, collegial and kind. You will not regret the decision to work with him!
