  Weve had Stumpys to our house to do work a few times, which makes me sick over this experience. The quote was to trim ****** away from the house by climbing the ******. This never happened. I was sick yesterday, and Stumpys was late, so I was asleep when they arrived. I woke up to their truck in our side yard and 5 branches of our hemlock lopped off so that their truck would fit. The hemlock was not near the house and not in the quote. We have had the hemlock treated in the past (hemlocks are prone to disease), and 5 healthy branches were cut to the trunk just so their truck would fit. The ****** that were supposed to be trimmed were not trimmed. It was as if the Stumpys worker never read the quote and was just there to put in a 1/2 days work and collect a check. No care at all went into the job. At all.The truck also destroyed our yard, leaving dents that will make mowing impossible without lifting the mower. Im sad over this because of what they did to our trees and to our yard, and also because Stumpys had been a good company. I dont know what happened. I dont know what to do about the hemlock. It will cost us thousands to have the tree removed when it dies, and Stumpys just shortened that timeline.Now Im left with finding a tree company to do the job I hired Stumpys to do, to assess the hemlock and to fix my yard. On top of it all, I received a bill from Stumpys for the work they did not complete. None of the job that was quoted was completed, severe damage was done to our hemlock and to our yard, and Stumpys still sent a bill.

  Required a crab apple tree to be brought under control at the corner of my house along with shrubbery. The crew Stumpys sent out was impressive, the equipment overkill (ment to meet any eventualities) and the time involved was more than I expected since no one stopped working, it was because they just didn't take any shortcuts. The lead on the job not only was working as hard as his crew but as he was doing the radical pruning he was explaining, to his crew and me, what he was doing, why he was doing it and what would happen if you didn't do it that way also any benifits derived by that method.I received an education along with an excellent finished product. Would I recommend or use this company again, NO BRAINER Oh......the pricing was competative.
