On Friday April 21st, I dropped my daughters iPad off at tech 4 tech to get the broken glass repaired. This was at their Monroe location at 1609 N 18th Street. I showed up Wednesday April 26th to pick it up. When I got there, I discovered that they closed the business and merged with their Ruston location. There was a note on the door stating so with their Ruston location telephone number on the sign. I called that number and they told me the iPad was ready and that they’d deliver it to me Thursday. I sent a text message to their associate with my work address in West Monroe to make it easier for them since they’re in Ruston. I followed up via text to see when they were coming because we close at lunch. The associate said his manager was going to bring it to me that evening. It was getting late so I sent him another text verifying that they were coming. He informed me that his manager dropped the iPad and the glass had to be re-replaced and gave me his managers number. I did have a missed call from this individual earlier but didn’t get to it in time. I called the manager at the number provided and he told me that her iPad was no longer “powering on” that he’d fix it , to give him until Monday. I was contacted today stating that the iPad had water damage and that’s why it’s not powering on. This is false. The iPad was on and fully functioning when I dropped it. I paid $165 for repairs that were not rendered. I also have not received my ipad that was purchased at Apple for $530. When I stated I wanted to be reimbursed there was a heated exchange and the manager hung up on me.
