On June 4th, 2024, I, **** ****** of ********* ***** *** *************, and ****** ********* of StatCode, Inc., of Louisville, KY, entered into a contract for the creation of a website chatbot for my website ********************. Upon the completion of the chatbot on or around August 15th, 2024, I paid the remainder of the agreed-upon rate bringing the total paid to $2110. The chatbot was working properly on the ********************* website on that date. Approximately two weeks after the final payment, ****** ******** sent notice of termination of the contract and subsequently disabled the chatbot. Several requests were made by the plaintiff to the defendant, asking him refund the total payment of $2110. These requests have gone unanswered.

I am a small minority owned business owner. The value of the work I did for **** is worth $6,000. I gave it to him for $2000. Even less that the contract agreement. I completed the scope of work and also when above and beyond the call of duty. He continues to maintain that I work for him for free. That is something I can not afford to do.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: *** ******** did complete the work and delivered the final product after payment in full of $2110. He then subsquently deleted the work product after two weeks, leaving me with nothing after paying the full contract amount.  I ultimately received nothing and he received $2110. If this weren't a civil contract matter, it would be considered theft.

    Sincerely,

    **** *****
