    ***** **** came by my house when I was working in the yard on May 26, 2023, and offered to trim some of my trees. When he started the work his tree trimmer was not functioning well. I allowed him to use mine. Before completely finishing the work he had agreed to do, he began work in my neighbor’s yard and took my tree trimmer there without my knowledge or permission. He broke my trimmer. He told my neighbor that he was going to repair or replace it, but he took it with him and has not responded to a text asking for its return. I had to purchase a new one to complete the work that he was supposed to complete and did not. My husband texted him that we wanted $65.00 in cash for the replacement trimmer. by today at noon or we would take legal action. He did not respond to that text either. He never finished the work at our neighbor’s house either and has failed to respond to *** ************* texts as well. We intend to report this as a theft to the Woodford County Sheriffs Office. But beyond the theft, ***** is unreliable and does not complete agreed upon work or communicate. I have the receipt for the trimmer replacement. It was approximately $63.00 with tax at Lowe’s. I had to drive from Versailles to Lexington to purchase it and rounded my request up to $65.00 for the trip.

    ***** **** of Brothers Tree Service, appeared at my door on 10/14/22 soliciting work on my trees.  He wrote a contract detailing the work he would complete.  A copy is included.  He worked 2 hours on that day.  It was a Friday and he asked that I pay $2500 in 5 different checks at $500 each so he could cash them at a gas station which I did.  He cut down a pine tree on 10/14.  On 10/15 he returned loaded up limbs and partially cut the trunk.  He asked for $500 more and "suggested" a tip.  I gave him a check for $600.  He returned 10/19 and removed the stump.  I paid $250 for that.  He has not returned.  Pictures are included of the mess he has left.  He trimmed a little on a Magnolia and 2 limbs on an Ash tree and left the branches.  none of the other trees have been touched.  

    I called 10/24/22 and left a voicemail asking him to call or come complete the job.  He made no contact.  I called 3 times 10/25/22. There is no response.

    In regards to complaint ID ********* I have not heard from the company that I filed the complaint about.  They have not returned to complete the job.
