    Small Businesses Beware. You are given a 5 year contract. They will increase your price each year dramatically however state you can not end your contract without paying for an additional 6 months of fees. According to the contract the price increases should be subject to the consumer price index as well as fuel and other waste charges....however when you ask to see why your bill was increased (mine was increased over 100 percent) they will tell you that it is proprietary information and that they can not tell you why they are charging you 100 percent more than your contracted price. They also tack on fees that are not listed in your contract and you have no choice but to pay them.... We were charged 50 dollars extra for having trash over the top of our dumpster despite the trash guy throwing the extra garbage back into our dumpster rather than hauling it off....apparently it is 50 dollars to keep your trash as well...... Basically they create a contract where they can charge and fine you anything they want based on anything they decide..... The guy I talked to literally told me that corporate just tells them to increase the bill 18-20 percent each year. (it is not tied to anything other than greed). When you call to try to end your contract you will also be told that the only person who can cancel your contract is the person who signed it....even if they no longer work at waste connections. It is soooo convenient for them..... There is an excuse or a fine or a charge for everything. do not sign with them......you can get a waste dumpster from other companies in town without a contract. We regret doing business with Waste Connections. Save yourselves the hassle and the heartache as well as your time and money and just do not do it!!!!!

    Terrible service! At least once a month, trash is not picked up as scheduled and have to wait an entire week to next pick up day. It will now be 3 weeks since the last pick up.

    Waste connections will charge their customers for services not provided. Say, bad weather hits, instead of picking up as soon as they can they will just skip you. They refuse to adjust bills when they don’t provided the service they are paid to provide.

    Poor customer service. I called twice in one day about canceling my service. I made sure that the $197 owed for the next three months would not be charged. They assured me it was not. Just a $25 cart pickup fee. Then today, two weeks later, the $197 was debited from my checking account. I called and they told me that it was my responsibility to stop auto pay. Fine, except that no one told me that when I canceled service. When I asked if I’d be charged the $197, no one said I should stop auto pay. This put our family in a hardship at the holidays. The employee never offered an apology. She kept saying it was my responsibility and that she wasn’t required to ask if I had autopay. A heads up about canceling auto pay, whether I had it or not, should be required when a customer ends service with them. I will never recommend Waste Connections. Their prices went up $40(!!!!) since our last bill. And the customer service was handled poorly. Now we have to wait 10-12 weeks for a refund check to arrive in the mail.

    Absolutely disgusting company. We’ve had so many problems with Waste Connections since we moved to our new home in May. They literally LIED and said at 7:53am they didn’t see my recycling bin out 2 weeks ago, so they didn’t take it. Yet, I remember them coming down my way and I put my bins out at 8:03. They took my trash but not my recycling bin. Then they had the audacity to lie and say that I didn’t have them out. So do you survey the street 10 minutes prior to picking up? They had to review the cameras from the truck and SURE ENOUGH, my bins were out there. Both. At the time I said they were. Not only that, they never gave me an explanation as to why it wasn’t picked up? Only picked it up the next day and pissed off at that. This week, today, I get a notice in the trash bin that my bins weren’t 6ft away from any vehicles. Yet, the bins were in the exact same spot they have been since May. It’s always something with this company. They’re money hungry, lazy and incompetent. The phone company that deals with customers too, rude. Extremely rude. Condescending attitude. Can’t wait for next week and the next problem they will give us. Not to mention, they do NOTHING to help the situation and it is always the consumers fault. Just look at these reviews and note that their google reviews do NOT exist.

    They did not pick up our trash as scheduled. I called them and they said they will be out between 8am - 6pm. Ive been keeping an eye on it and they never came. I called back again. They said the driver was there and did not see the trash bin which is a lie! We put it right outside, the same spot all these years. How can they not see it??? Now, they say we have to wait for another week

    Waste Connections didn't pick up my trash this week. The cart was out the night before, and everything was in order. I submitted their form for missed pickup that evening. They responded that they did not know why it was missed. When I asked for a credit since they missed my weekly pickup, they refused. I understand that it may be missed occasionally, but don't understand why they don't issue a credit for that.

    Price went up on me last billing period, by 13$, they didnt pick up my trash last week. Charged me 6 bucks because i didnt cancel their service beforr thr first, even though i didnt use their can due to it not being picked up. My due date to pay them was the 10th, not thr first. I also had to deliver their trash can or i would of been charged another 25$, i do not recommend this company. Their higher then the one i got last week.

    For the last year or so, about once a month, our trash gets "missed" on Tuesdays. Just got picked up today (Friday) Funny.. the recycle doesn't and it sits RIGHT NEXT TO THE TRASH CART. I'm sick of calling them (they always ask me if my cart was out "early") Always the same answer from me "our carts are put out the NIGHT before" ...because we do!) Plus the bill has went up numerous times. Getting frustrated and will change companies if I have one more "missed" pick-up!

    Just read my new statement and got another significant increase on all my rental properties waste removal without warning. I have used this company for a while now but this price increase is just too much for me. I will be searching to take my business to another company that can take care of my properties at a better cost. My payment has nearly doubled since I started using this company. Unacceptable and without warning.
