      I recently had $10k patio and driveway work done that was unacceptable. Some reinforcing work was so sloppy that I had to make corrections before concrete was poured. A control joint was missed that allowed a crack to form 4 months later.. Opp’s response when contacted about the crack was to send me a copy of their ‘warranty’ letter and suggest that I caulk the crack! Their warranty states that “normal shrinkage cracks cannot be avoided.” That’s what properly installed control & expansion joints are for. They appear to count on that language as an excuse to avoid correcting any mistakes made during construction! Concrete work done for me by Opp 4 years ago was good….. I really expected them to be better than this. I can post pictures for anyone interested.

      Calvin Opp Concrete replaced my concrete sidewalk and 2 steps and the top 2 sections of my driveway in October of 2021. A small diagonal crack appeared within a couple of months across one of the two new driveway sections. Understanding that unless the crack has separated to certain specifications, it was within acceptable business standards, and my crack was within those acceptable standards. On 4-4-22, I called Calvin and asked him to stop by when he got a chance (I told him it was not an emergency) and look at it so he could tell me if there was anything I could do to slow the crack from getting any worse. He said he would the next time he was in the Bel Aire area. I hadn't heard from him, so I called again on 4-21-22. He said he just hadn't had time to stop by yet, but he still had me on his list. As of 5-19-22, he still hadn't called or stopped by, so I left him a voice mail to see if we could set up a specific time for him to stop by so I could check this off my "Things To Do" list. As of today (5-25-22), I've still never heard from him. So if you are interested in Customer Service, you won't find it at Opp.
