    I had my van towed to this shop in November. I had the truck already diagnosed by another shop that didnt do transmission work so chose Certified because they gave me the lowest quote for the work $1,200! From day one I never heard from nobody once they received my van and as weeks went by I was calling and nobody never answered. Eventually someone answered and told me they have took apart my transmission and rebuilding it and it should be ready by Monday no later than Tuesday in December. Another month goes by without any communication and I got tired of calling so I left a voicemail stating that if I dont hear anything I will be contacting the BBB TO FILE A COMPLAINT. Someone called me right back and told me that they was waiting on a part that had came in already and it should be done no later than Monday or Tuesday. Still wasnt done in time. They did finally call a couple weeks later to pick up my van. When I got there they raised the price to $1,599 saying they had to change some lines. I have no proof of the work being performed. And now my van is back doing the same thing it was doing when I first took them my van. They couldnt have rebuilt my transmission if Im getting the same exact codes and its driving the same exact way it was in the beginning. I totally feel betrayed and ripped off paying almost $1,800 and van still not fixed. The reviews speak for themselves and its over 10 customers complaining about the same things my complaint about. They ripping us off and not supplying any proof of the work they claimed to do on paperwork. No parts list or prices nowhere. Just a receipt that you paid them

    We towed the customers vehicle in for free and check the vehicle out for them. We contacted the customer with the price before any work was done on the vehicle. Customer authorized the repair of the **********************. We have since contacted the customer and the customer stated he was satisfied. We stand behind our repair and we were upfront with customer with the price of their repair.

     I am rejecting this response because:whoever Responded to this is totally being dishonest. To this day I still dont have my vehicle back! They still dont answer the phone or even communicating now! I have proof I call and nobody ever answers or return my calls. They had my car from November to January 31, I drove the car until February 10 and it broke down and had the same codes it had when I sent my car there! As far as the price I was told the repair would be $1200 but once I picked my van they charged me $1797 saying they had to change some lines that I have no proof they changed! And I never told anyone Im satisfied, why would I say Im satisfied and they still claim to be working on my vehicle going on 4 months? My next step is small claims court because they lied to the Attorney General too! I am very disappointed that I trusted and relied on this company to work on my property to be going through this since November

     I am rejecting this response because:
    The person submitting these responses are playing games with me and The BBB. They keep telling me that my van is finished but I still have not received my vehicle to this day. They are constantly playing unprofessional games. And they honestly doing it as retaliation for me filing a complaint which is in my right to do so when a business behaves in an unprofessional manner. Im constantly losing money dealing with this company from taking off work, renting cars to go there because they dont communicate. If I dont receive my vehicle by the end of this week Monday morning Im going to the ************************ to file a claim against this company. I have all documentation needed to win a suit if I choose to file one. Tired of the disrespect, lies, and unprofessionalism!

    I paid to have a transmission rebuilt. They had my truck for several months and when I got it back it lasted 2 days before leaving me stranded. They took the truck for several more months before returning it and now the transmission is slipping again. I also paid extra for a shift kit or upgraded parts that were never installed. I have taken it to a different shop and they said that the parts in this Trans have atleast ******* miles on them. I know certified auto buys parts from junkyard and installs them in hopes of making it past the warranty. I want my money back so I can fix my truck correctly

    MY TRUCK IS STILL THERE!I went to this place hoping to have my transmission repaired, the reverse would randomly slightly slip and jerk into gear from time to time, but all the other gears worked perfectly. It was quoted at $1000 over the phone when I spoke with ****, but he said they needed to look at it to be sure and I told him that I would drop it off. I drove it to the location (a little over 2 hours) from where I live,dropped it off on a Saturday, they took a look within the next week and told me it would cost $2900 to replace, due to the transmission, being no good. I recieved a call that it was ready. I paid for the service. Drove it home and the reverse started doing the exact same thing it was doing when I dropped it off. I called **** again and took it back for what I thought was proper repair, after a few days, he called and told me it was ready and they made a few adjustments, I asked him if he was sure, he told me yes it was ready. I went down to pick it up, I drove it home and it was doing the exact same thing again after a few days. I called **** and took it back again, this time I had **** get in the truck with me so he could see and feel what I was talking about, he said okay and that they would get it fixed. My truck has been at this place now for about 3 weeks and it is still there. I have driven back and forth 3 times and my transmission has not been repaired. This is supposed to be a transmission shop. I just want it fixed properly or my money refunded. This is bad business. I have had to have people follow me to this place drop to drop the truck off and then drive me back home (over 2 hrs) going and coming. 3 different times, for the money that I have spent for the transmission, and the trips back and forth on gas ( which is not cheap) and food, I could have purchased a new transmission. THIS IS BAD BUSINESS!

     I am rejecting this response because: *** called and said that he apologized about not having the truck repaired properly and for the inconvenience, he would look out for me on future repairs or anything else that I needed, and throw in some free services in the future, then he said that the truck would be done in a few days after the pigtail kit for the transmission came in. He then said after the truck is fixed, he would like for me to act like I made a mistake by contacting the BBB.

    When they finally called to tell me that the transmission was fixed and I could come and pick the truck up. I asked them if they could tow the truck to Ft. ***** since I drove back and forth so many times. The only reason I asked is because he said that he would look out in the future and If I needed anything just let him know and he gave me his number to call him directly. The representative said that they would not be able to do it, because they don't drive out that far. The problem with that answer is that it was a lie, because when I first called to get my transmission looked at by them he told me that they only went out so far, but if a I paid a fee, they would come to my house and pick it up. 

    I feel like i should at least be compensated for the back and forth on the road. Gas is not cheap. This company needs to be fair and honest about what happened.

     I am rejecting this response because:
    I never said that I was satisfied with anything. If you go to this place for any repairs please BEWARE. These people are scam artists. You don't have to go by my report you can look at previous reports from and see that it is all a game that they play with customers. The only reason I feel like they finished my truck was because of the Better Business Bureau, that I filed. As a matter of fact, I know that is the only reason they finished it, because *** asked me to remove the complaint.

    SCAM ALERT!!! VERY DISHONEST & THEIVES!!!I called Certified Auto and Transmission and explained the issue I was having with my working Transmission. **** told me that if I dropped my transmission off they could repair it for $1000 and would be done in a day or 2 at most. 5 days later I received a call telling me that my transmission was "Smoked". **** said everything needed replaced: Torque Convertor, Pump, TCM and additional parts that don't come with their Kit so it was going to cost $2500 for the rebuild. I explained that this vehicle was running and driving fine before and there is no way My transmission was completely "smoked". I asked him to put it back together and i would come back and pick it up and take it elsewhere for repairs. When i arrived to pick up my Transmission, **** tried to give me a transmission in pieces. After looking over the parts i realized this was not my transmission at all, As I took pictures of all my parts and numbers before dropping off to them. I told **** this was not my transmission and he said that it had to be because they didn't have any other transmissions like mine in the shop. So, I showed him the pictures of the Numbers from mine and he could not explain why the numbers didn't match. He tried to **** several other pieces off as mine but none were my parts. After we looked through several piles of junk parts, with no luck, he said he would have to talk to his mechanic that took it apart to verify its location.On monday, *** the shop manager called me and said he located my transmission but needed my pictures to verify some of the parts. He offered to deliver my transmission to me for the misunderstanding. I agreed that was the least he could do.After their driver dropped off my transmission i verified the numbers and they matched. Although, upon further inspection i found they had switched several parts out internally with broken ************* are missing. It is now unusable or repairable unless parts are replaced.

    9/16/2022 $2,500 Charged me for rebuilding the transmission on my car when they only did axle repair. I took the car to an expert and confirmed that the transmission was never unmounted or touched, except they painted the casing while it was still mounted to the engine. This is theft I will not contact them because I will not deal with people with no conscious.I will have pictures videos and documentation from expert tomorrow and will upload them if I can.

    They picked up my truck to fix code p0700 he told me it wasnt nothing big when they towed the truck he called the next day saying it needs work on the transmission n if I wanted to come get my truck it was 300 or **** to fix he called the next day which was the 2nd day saying I need a new transmission for **** I ok him to fix it the next day he told me my car was ready at 5 pm which the closed at 6 I wasnt gone make it so he asked me to Zelles the **** to him which I did I picked up my car n the same problem was happening I called but he was out of town the check engine light came on so I took it to auto zone n got codes for trans more than I started off with

    I had my vehicle taken to this shop for repairs. They had my vehicle for 3 1/2 almost 4 months. After I got my vehicle back I had to pay ******* dollars on top of what my insurance paid. My headlights didnt work radio didnt work and had a bad sound coming from front passenger side. Took it back a second time. They fixed the issue. I went to get an alignment from a tire shop and they showed me the paperwork of how badly twisted my frame is. Front end is way out of alignment and frame work was in poor condition. Also slight oil leak on motor where the body shop was working on (passenger side). I called **** (shop owner) and told him I want my vehicle fixed but I dont ***na take it back to his shop since it would be the third time. I also told him I would not pay for anything since it shouldve been fixed right in the first place. I told him to call **************** (tire shop) for more information regarding how bad my frame still is. *** called him 12 times since then and **** has not gotten back with me. He answered the phone when I call from a different number. Im sure he has blocked mine. All I want is my vehicle fixed and I cant even get ahold of him. Please help. Thanks
