From an email to the company: I wanted to reach out and forward this email to you because I have been trying to work this out with this issue out with the Valparaiso branch for over a month now. The manager said the he was going to forward this to you, but I wanted to make sure it made it your way.To say the least I have been very disappointed in the Valparaiso branch and their customer service during this process. To quote your employees during some conversations I have heard I work from 8-2 so if you really called I would have answered, the person that told you that you could not cancel over the phone or mail has been terminated and no longer works there, and someone here may have put the letter in a spot where I didnt see it. Overall I have remained diligent in everything that has been asked of me in this process. Every time I have spoken to an employee I essentially have been told that it is my fault this issue has not been resolved. I understand that processes may have changed over this time, but I believe that I should not have to be financially responsible for mistakes of one more gym employees.- I checked my calendar and confirmed that the letter was sent on June 9th, 2022 with 2 gym access key fobs in the envelope - I have tried contacting the gym at least 6 times over the past month between 8-5 and the phone was never picked up. - 6/7 was the first time I contacted the gym to request cancellation over the phone and was told the only way to cancel was in the gym -6/8 I contacted the gym again to try to request cancellation in another form besides going to the gym and was told that I just simply had to send a letter and that the employee that told me I had to do it in the gym "did not work there anymore".- You will get my card refunded the $30 that was charged on 7/14 and the $60 and whatever late fees will be removed from my account.Business refuses to provide info over email and will only talk on the phone to eliminate evidence

I went to One More Gym located in **********, ******* to sign up, the man told me (****) it would be $49 to sign back up and I agreed. I was a member a few months back and being a senior citizen I paid $20 a month. When I checked my credit card balance this gym actually charged me $49 twice. So I went back in only one day later after signing up, and let **** know. He said ok, will send a message to corporate to take the one $49 off. it will take 3 to 5 business days. But 5 days later the extra $49 was still on there. So I went back in and told them I no longer want to sign up for this gym cancel me. **** went into the computer and said done. My credit card company Ollo told me that the second payment they dropped. But now today, a month later I got a call saying my account is past due. I called back to say I am not going to this gym as I cancelled right away. Then later I received a text saying when I went to sign in to the gym today I owe a balance. I was at work today and have not been to this gym since I tried to sign back in. so I am now being harrassed and do not owe them any money.

Ive been getting charged $25.00 for One More Gym since the company bought out Charter Fitness; which has been a couple years now. I never received notice of those changes or a new membership contract, card or key. I just continued to get charged. I went to the gym a couple times in the past and there was no employee present the first time. The second time the doors locked and no one answered the phone. The email listed on the One More Gym website does not work. I called the number listed on the BBB website and they stated that the ************ location was not affiliated with them as of two months ago. Again, no communication, contract or assistance. The employee on the phone stated she can not look up my name due to that location not being theres and they need to change the name that shows up when being charged. Well, the ************ location and contact information is STILL listed on the One More Gym website. So now Im being charged for a gym I dont have access too. I am looking for a full refund starting from the purchase of Charter Fitness as well as the new information for the current gym owners (gym name, phone number to corporate etc.)
