Took car to Best one on 6/29 for a low tire pressure reading. they said it had a nail in tire they plugged tire for $27. The low pressure light continued so on Sat. 7/8 I took care back and asked them to check tire again. I took car about ****. I left the car and they were to call me with update. They called at **** to say they could not fix the tire. They closed at **** and I saw my car in the bay on the lift no tire on. They do not open until Monday at ****. Nobody tried to call me again to see what I wanted to do about the tire. They just left it there. I need the car for work. So now I have to wait until Monday for my car. This is unacceptable service to leave a car there without my authorization. They have my keys and my car. I want a refund for the $27 dollars I paid for the first plug I believe the people working on Sat 7/8 did not know what they were doing or the plug was done incorrectly. This is a 2021 ***** CRV. not an old car.

We took our vehicle in to be repaired at **** Tire. Our original quote was $800 to replace the radiator. After they had our car in the shop for several days they called and said we also needed additional work completed on the water pump. We agreed to pay the new quote of around 1400The merchant told us they repaired the issues and our car was in 100% working order and all was good to go. We paid ******* to them and got our car. Within 48 hours of picking up the car it broke down on the interstate and had to be towed to their sister shop. They are now saying we need to pay $5000+ for a whole new engin. We spoke with the owner, ***** and asked for a refund on 02/15/2023 and again on 02/21/2023 or for them to properly fix the vehicle. They are refusing to give us the money back even when offering to tow the vehicle back to them so they can remove the faulty parts they installed. Either what they installed was not done properly or was not the true issue wrong with the vehicle.

         To whom this may concern,

I (***********************) spoke with ************************* about the auto repair done on her daughters car. The vehicle was brought in with a cracked radiator. We provided and estimate for radiator, which was approved, and we proceeded with service. After driving for three days and driven half way across ******* the vehicle developed a blown head gasket. I have since refunded *************** for cooling system parts per our negotiations. She was thankful and happy at that time. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do in this matter.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

While I appreciate that the company refunded the coolant parts, we brought the car in for overheating and it was "repaired" but then still overheated while on the way to ***********. A vehicle should be able to drive 90 miles after having being "completely repaired." At this point the amount of the refund is just enough to get our vehicle towed home. ***** has not reassessed the vehicle to even ensure the other company's inspection is accurate. I'd like either ALL parts refunded (as I mentioned, they are welcome to take the parts back if they'd like), plus the car looked at by ***** and his company to make sure that it actually is the head gasket and not the radiator. We just find it hard to believe that the car had the same issue of overheating,  due to a new cause and unrelated to the work that was performed. We feel as if either the true cause was not addressed, or that the work done was not done properly. We will gladly resolve the issue if the remaining parts are refunded and ***** reassesses the car to make sure it is actually the head gasket.

      Regards,

      *************************
