    Contracted to have work done on classic car in 11/2023. Aligned on price and timeline to complete end of April. Tried to be understanding of delays and excuses made by contractor. October 2024 currently and mechanic refusing to release vehicle, has been paid in full, either can't or won't complete the work. Has tied up significant amount of money and won't release vehicle even after Request to release as is. Mechanic is fraudulent and at this point holding my property forcefully and not granting access.Way to much effort, money spent, and patience to this point. Mechanic asked for more money because he can't get other work and not able to compete work he was already been paid for. Refusal to release vehicle or get access to vehicle 11 months after receipt of car and full payment means owner isn't going to finish and continue to find reasons to delay. Seeking legal resolution to receive money back and car released in working conditions that was sent. Was supposed to be a paint job and suspension install. Has now turned into mess and resentment on ever using mechanic.

    Business was paid by my insurance company to fix damages after an accident after which should have only took 2 weeks turn into 4 months just to get the car back and damages that were claimed to be fixed where not. The shop is all around fraudulent shop owner does not know how to fix cars
