    July 10th monday2023 at 9am **** from Midwest sealcoating came to our residence to fill cracks and sealcoat our driveway. during application a cap blew off his sealcoating tank and sealcoating started flowing down ************************* front of 2 houses. he stopped the sealcoating and use buckets of water to wash down the sealcoating which ended up going down a stormwater drain and stained the street. he said he would return to clean up the mess in the street and any flaws in the sealcoating on our driveway. so trusting him i paid **** $200 cash and recieved a receipt. i have texts and pictures. texts promising to come by and correct the problem. said he was more "EMBARRASED THAN ANYBODY ITS MY WORK AND NAME AND OBVIOUSLY GOING TO MAKE IT RIGHT" that was tuesday the 11th. wednesday the 12 we had appointments and he asked when we would be home. said around 5. i asked why we had to be home he said to use our water to powerwash the street. he said forget i will bring our water tank. HE NEVER SHOWED UP. thursday the 13th no communication, friday the 14th text "100 % MY FAULT AND I APOLOGIZE TO THE FULLEST THATS WHY I INTEND TO MAKE IT RIGHT" waited all day friday for him to show up. a no show. Said my texts were slowing him down on his jobs he was doing. monday the 17th we went to ******************** station. asking for advice. CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER ******************* came to our residence and witness the street and driveway. *** was able to obtain infor that Midwest Sealcoating was not licensed in ************. that was first questioned i asked if they were licensed and insure and Midwest said YES. ****** said our driveway looked like "CRAP" and he called PUBLIC WORKS about the street and the smell hidious. Midwest finally answered ****** numerous calls. Midwest showed up the 18th recieved ticket from ****** for not being license. removed stains but left a HUGE BLACK SPOT ON STREET AND DID NOT CORRECT FLAWS ON OUR DRIVEWAY. LAST TEXT "DO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN"
