Date of transaction 12/11/2023. Amount financed *********. The following week of purchase the first problem was bad tires. I caught a flat on the express way. The 2017 KIA ******** wasnt equipped with any spare tire or equipment to fix a flat. The following week I called about the stalling of my acceleration. Driving on the express way has been dangerous because of that. I finally reached someone. I was told to bring it to them. I took it to Autozone to get a diagnostic ran. The first 2 weeks of having the vehicle I find out it cannot pass emissions test because of a chamshaft problem. They had me pay for a rental, kept it a week. I get it back its worse and oil is leaking. No lights came on. Problem wasnt resolved. This was around January 2024. From that day I havent been able to reach anyone from elite auto because the manager is never there. ***** was the month ***** sent the car to J&A auto body to fix the camshaft. Again same problem but worse. Oil has been leaking and I then arranged for a *** dealer to look at it. They fixed the dashboard notification to where I can see when there is no oil. I wasnt notified of any problems from my dash until then. Ive set up appointments with my warranty company to look into ***,s findings. *** called *** and the warranty company several time so they can link up and find a solution. My truck hasnt been drivable since end of July early August. And I have yet to hear from anyone. Its also a recall also on the *** I just found out about. I am without a vehicle to work and provide. Ive reached out to all I can and still no resolutions or call backs.Business Response

******,We truly appreciate your business. As you are aware we are a used car dealership. While we do our best to ensure our cars are in the best condition possible, we cannot predict any future issues that may occur to your vehicle. All vehicles are sold in as-is condition. We as a dealership do not offer a warranty on the vehicle, the warranties are actually offered by the finance company. We are not associated with any mechanic shop and are not aware that you have issues with them. Please contact the mechanic shop that is servicing your vehicle under the warranty.Initial Complaint

Thank you for reaching out regarding your concerns.
We would like to remind you that the vehicle was sold 'as is,' and, as noted at the time of purchase,
any issues that arise after the sale are covered under the extended warranty provided by a third-party company. As the car was purchased a year ago, we encourage you to contact the warranty provider directly for assistance.
If you need any help with that process, please let us know.

I financed a vehicle with Elite Auto Sales, *** on August 14, 2023. I arrived to the dealership later in the day and wasnt expecting to drive off that day with a vehicle but was able to finance a 2018 Buick Encore. I was extremely thankful because I was going through such a difficult time with the passing of my fianc and had also been struggling with being a newly single parent. I told the sales person I knew nothing about cars but would take the vehicle to the mechanic. I did the next day and was told the vehicle just needed a wheel bearing and oil change. August 15,2023 I brought the vehicle back to Elite to share the issue. My sale men had someone drive the vehicle and they agreed to completely take care of the wheel bearing. On August 24, 2023 I was texted Elites mechanic business card and instructed to call him to make an appointment. The mechanic had no available appointments until the next week, I was schedule to leave town for work so the mechanic, whose name is *****, and I agreed to touch bases when I made it back into town. My work required me to be gone for an extended time but once I made it back I called the mechanic and the dealership and they both agreed to honor the initial agreement to fix the wheel bearing. (While I was away the vehicle had not been driven). Finally the vehicle was delivered to *****, the mechanic, on November 3, 2023. ***** stated that the only issue with the vehicle was the wheel bearing as the previous mechanic had informed me. From November to February the vehicle has not been in my possession for a consecutive 2 weeks due to issue after issue. Every time a new issue occurred the mechanic would say it was a problem that was over looked and it took time to get the parts for the vehicle. The mechanic had the vehicle from December 6, 2023 until December 17, 2023. (CONTINUED IN COMMENTS)Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
The dealerships response is not truthful. I took the car to a mechanic the next day after receiving the vehicle from them and was told it needed a shaft bearing. I was told this by the independent mechanic and Elites Auto Sale mechanic the day after purchase. Elites Auto Sales agreed to fix the vehicle. Elite Auto Sales sent the vehicle to their mechanic, but their mechanic never fixed the vehicle. I was given the run around for three months traveling back and forth from ********** to ******* with the promise that the vehicle would be repaired. I only signed the Buyer Guide because I was promised that the wheel bearing was the only issue and would be repaired with no problem. Elite Auto Sales dd not keep their word.Business Response

the customer inspected the car before buying it. in addition to that we guide our customers to go to certain mechanic shops in the area if they ever have problems. the vehicle was bought last year and we don't know exactly if the customer did something that caused the problem that the customer is talking about. in conclusion we sell cars as is and we attached the signed as is buyer's guide from the customer . even though we sell cars as is and give our customers the chance to inspect the car before they buy if the customer needs any guidance to where to go to fix her car we can help with that. Thank you so much.Initial Complaint

Date of transaction is May 15, 2022, I purchased a 2012 GMC Terrain from Elite auto. I took the car to Duke of oil for an oil change in July. I went to start my car and it wound not stay started. i called and had it towed to a repair shop because i have a three-year warranty on the car. The repair shop stated that the motor was bad and that i had an internal oil leak. The repairs came out to $6,574.00 the warranty will help up to $3,000. i believe Elite knew about the oil leak, this is not the ************ since i bought the car. I had to have work done on the exhaust on day two in which elite paid for the repairs. I called them to help resolve the issue but they stated they have nothing to do with that..Business Response

We are sorry the customer is having problems with her used car.
When customer purchased her vehicle she was having problems with the exhaust so we paid for repairs cause she just purchased the vehicle.
Customer purchased vehicle in May then in July few months after purchasing and driving the vehicle she was told there was a oil leak.
If there was a oil leak when having her oil changed they would of told her this. having a internal oil leak for the time she is stating the car would of ran completely out of oil.
Unfortunatley there is nothing we can do with the customers car as she did drive on vehicle for several months.
Then she stated that she had a oil change in July then after her oil change her car had problems staying started.
The as/is is attached which she signed when Purchasing the vehicle.
