    We signed a contract with C&S Construction to replace our seawall on 12-Aug-2022. (contract is attached)The contract required 1/2 down which was $7250. This was to purchase materials for the seawall.With permits needed to proceed it was agreed that work would either begin early Spring 2023 or Fall 2023. We reached out to ****** starting in February 2023 with multiple emails and phone calls. We finally heard back from him on April 5, 2023. He apologized for not getting back, 'had received the voicemail a month or so ago but had a lot to get done and a lot on his mind'. He let us know that they didn't have the permits and would reach out to let us know when they had it.Again, not hearing anything from ****** I reached out on September 25, 2023 looking for a permit status as well as a date when work would start. As of this date we still have not heard from C&S Construction.At this point, we have lost faith in C&S and we are out $7250. At this point we would like to cancel the agreement and get our money back. Please help us. Please let me know if there is anything else you need from me.Your help is greatly appreciated.

    We signed a contract with ****** from C&S construction to replace our roof on 9/1/22. The contract required 1/2 down, which was $8,600. The work was to start by 9/19/22. Our check was cashed on 9/2/22, and the business of C&S construction was permanently closed in 9/5/22. Multiple calls and Voicemails left for both ******* and ****** went unanswered. When we FINALLY reached them, they told us the work would begin on 11/16/22. Again, they never showed and never called. We are out $8,600. Please help us. We now realize they have no intention of ever replacing our roof. We just want our money back.

    We have  every intention of doing this job. Have had circumstances  beyond our control this fall with family. Those problems hsve been taken care of so we now can proceed with this roof job. Want to get started yet this week and stay on job till its done and completed.

     I am rejecting this response because: C&S Construction was to start this job on or around 9/19/22.  It is now 11/29/22, and after not returning any of our calls and voicemails for the month of October, we have lost all faith in their company.  They have breached the contract they presented us.  We are awaiting the return of our deposit and if it is not received by 12/8/22, will have our attorney on standby to further address this problem.
