I had a garage fire on July 2nd. I contacted this construction company to bid the repair work. ***** Anderson is the person I was dealing with. He told me I needed them to prepare an inventory list with pictures of my personal items that were lost. I initially told him I didn't want those services. Then he convinced me it was necessary. After I spoke with my ***** **** adjuster she advised me it was not necessary so I told ***** that I didn't want them to do it. He said they already took the photos. I told him I would pay for the photos. I wasn't having a good feeling with this company because of the way he was controlling my claims process. I opted to get another bid after I received his. ***** was wanting $10,000 emergency funds released directly to his company to start the demo process. I informed him that I had another company come out to bid the work as well so I had something to compare it too since I felt it was high. He immediately changed his demeaner with me from that point on. He sent me a bill on the services his company has performed to date. I asked multiple times for the bill to be itemized so that I could forward to the correct claims department to issue payment to him. I had 4 claims going both vehicles, my camper and the homeowners claim for my garage. ***** refused to send me an itemized list and told me if I didn't pay it today he would be filing a lien on my home. Please read attached correspondence. The first invoice I received was yesterday morning at 9:57 AM with an invoice he wanted paid by the end of today. ***** **** tried to call him yesterday to see if he would provide it but they said he wasn't in. He left his name and number for ***** to call back. I am in need of this itemized bill, if I have to pay for the services today out of my own pocket to prevent a lien, I need to be able to recoup some of it from the insurance company. Most of the services he billed for were for the cars to be removed which goes vechicle claim
