    T&G Structures started a tear out and replacement of my deck in mid-July with an anticipated 1 month completion date. Reality was 3+ months later and several thousands of dollars over budget before the work was completed. *** failed to manage the project so I was forced into the project management role (presumably I payed for one!!).The initial sub-contractor (*****) took advantage of ***'s failure to manage and REPEATEDLY tried to leave deteriorated/decayed wood posts & joists rather than dig for new ones. I escalated this to *** each time and finally fired *****. A second crew was brought in and they identified additional shoddy workmanship by *****. EVERY incident required a tear out and rework, additional materials and duplicate labor.There was a great deal of excess materials (including TREX decking) for which *** promised me reimbursement. He is now claiming numerous reasons why he won't do so. Probably not a lot of money but another example of poor business practices by T&G Structures.
