    Mr ********************** and I entered into a contract **** is it labeled scan 54. *** or a member of his team worked on: 1- Gutter Spikes- I had the new gutter spikes to be screwed in. They used 2 of them and nailed the old spikes into the gutter. Damaging the gutter. 2- Shelf in Garage - they put holes in the wall of my garage and this is why I did not want to do this myself. 3-Install Front Exterior Door- I paid for the door at Menards, he picked it up. Installed the door which was damaged there are pictures and he said he picked it up that way and could not return it so he would patch it. Destroyed my drywall around my door now there is nowhere to nail the trim to the wall because there is not wall. He did offer to come back the 3rd time because he said he wasn't finished and he was going to mud the walls and I asked how he was going to mud the walls when he already mudded the trim at the seams so the trim wouldn't fall off of the wall and be connected I guess this was his thinking. He did not comment. I did not want him coming back to my house and causing more damage that I have to figure out how to get fixed in a timely manner. My son has allergies and cannot be exposed to this stuff. I do not have anymore time to go back and forth with *** because I believe he will come back, but I also believe he doesn't know how to fix this mess. We did not even get to the other 3 items especially the wax ring. I cannot afford to have toilet water going all over my floor and ruin my new carpet. He said I was a horrible communicator, I do not understand. You can look at the pictures and tell this work is atrocious and I am embarrassed for anyone to visit my home. He said he doesn't work for free and he feels I expected him to work for free. It would be different if he actually even did an average job and I expected my money back. But this is in no way acceptable. I paid him ****** in good faith. There is no way I would allow him to attempt to replace a wax ring after this fiasco. I did not want toilet water all over my floor ruining my new carpet. I know it is the law he probably doesn't have to refund my money to me as his dad is an attorney. However I would think to be a good person you would refund the money since I have to get everything redone. I even paid for a new door that he destroyed. So in the least I should be reimbursed for that, which is not included in any of the numbers. It is an additional ******

    I stated to my customer ****** that I had to come back she said that was fine then she changed her mind and says that she wants to have my father come with me if not she wants her money back I stated that we wrote a contract and that I would come back and fix things but instead she just wants the money and I'm not giving her money back but I'm more than willing to come fix the issues that she has.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. 

    I am not confident ****** Holder knows how to make the necessary repairs.  I do not understand why you would paint around a door and trim when there is still Drywall, Sanding etc. . .  to do.  He stated his father taught him everything he knows, so I would be willing to try this with his father as a witness especially since he is an attorney.  He also picked up a new door and installed it damaged and I am supposed to accept that.  I do not know to much about home repairs but I do know painting is the final touch.   There are photos previously provided.

    Attached are receipts for items I purchased in addition to the 600 in paid in labor totaling 436.42.  I would also like reimbursement for as the door is damaged and cannot be used and the gutter spikes and shutter spikes were taked what was not used.  These unsatisfactory projects have cost me *******. I forgot to add after he came back the 2nd time to work on the door the deadbolt is not lined up again, so obviously he did check this before he left.  His excuse is it was a very hot week.  Which it was however the days he worked was **** before it got extremely hot and he left at 2 for a birthday party and started 8:16 he was leaving Menards in **** which is approximatey 20 minutes from my residence.  Then he came back on Monday August 21  around 9 am he was at my residence and went to Lowes in **** and came back he probably left around maybe 1 at the latest and this was inside work and this includes travel time, he made $60.00 per hour.

    I decided to mop in front of the door thinking there was dust but  NO to my surprise 1 plank of my flooring is torn up.  The more I look the damages just keep accumulating.  This is why *** Holder cannot be trusted do this work by himself.  He is sloppy and  doesn't double check his work. This flooring is 2 years old and there is not a scratch on it.

    Owner  I ****** holder stated to the cli not that her door wasn't in good shape. I told her I had to return to finish the job due to the heat index outside. She said that was fine. Two days later she replied with text stating she wanted a refund. I replied back that I would come fix any issues free of charge. She stated only with my attorney present
