I brought my **** RS5 2019 for exhaust leak due and fitment is***. He quoted me about $1658 and told me I need to V band clamps and to remove all the clamps underneath the car so it stops shifting cause the exhaust kept shifting. So I decided to proceed with what he said, which was a huge mistake cause when the car was done he told me its going to cost more then $2200 not only did he didnt even notify and say hey just wanted to let you know it will cost way more then what we estimated which is ridiculous so he waits until everything is done which it wasnt it was much worse then before. Now the job is done and he wants $2200 like everything was fine which I think is very suspicious I believe I was mistreated badly and as soon as tables turn he started to get very angry for no reason. so when I picked up the car it started to make noise literally when I left the shop not only they left me un safe with 2 hanger bolts were loose that holds the rear mufflers, the rear pipe is still hitting the shield and track bar, the computer actuator is hitting the exhaust shield which never use to happen. and I have it on video and the owner *** telling me to come back next morning and I have all the messages and proof as well. So I go back to the shop there multiple Bolts loose even the mid pip I have on video he pointed at his employee and said this is on us let me see what I can do to get everything situated oh and not only did he not fix it again my muffler was on the ground almost within minutes Im turning around to go back to his shop now Im just upset and he's getting mad at me he goes underneath the bolt is gone hes telling me. We go in the garage he's telling me blah blah basically excuses asking me as a customer to check if the bolts are right now it just didnt make any sense and that point he was just giving up and wanted to get me out which he did. He threatens me banned so I have no choice but to either *** file complaint or dispute. I have all the receipts.Business Response

1.)We made every attempt to accommodate your needs and even went above and beyond to try and satisfy your demands.
2.)We have a waitlist of customers trying to get in but you wanted to get in on a specific date quickly, and we accommodated you.
3.)The initial estimate is exactly that, an estimate, and you signed an agreement that states you understood the nature of custom fabrication, the estimate was not a guaranteed price, and you agreed to pay the final amount regardless of how much higher it was from the estimate because this was custom work and final hours and materials cannot be determined until work is complete.
4.)To say we did not keep you updated during the process regarding price is a complete lie. We have documentation and our standard is sending customers detailed updates with pictures and videos every day, along with an email showing the estimate reflecting actual hours and materials so there was no surprises day to day.
5.)Once work was completed we allowed you to be involved and participate in the final fitment and details to ensure everything was perfect and you validated that to be the case before you left. You left saying everything is perfect! Before doing a burnout in our parking lot disrespectfully.
6.)When we received calls and messages the next day from you indicating you were having issues it was surprising, but we had you come right back in to check over what could possibly be wrong. It would be very highly unlikely these issues would occur after we finished working on it and sent it home perfect. Nonetheless we had you come right back in - squeezing you in ahead of customers again - adjusted the exhaust that somehow moved despite us not being able to explain how, and sent you home again after you told us everything is perfect again.
7.)But once you contacted us again for a second time indicating more issues we knew something wasnt normal.luckily thats when you accidentally revealed you have been pulling things apart, tampering with our work, and trying to blame us not when you have not been putting things back together correctly
8.)As soon as you tamper with our work and then blame us for issues not caused by us we can no longer offer you service here anymore. Especially when you are filing false claims like this!

I am rejecting this response because: hes a liar nobody didnt rush anyone I clearly have the message there saying DONT RUSH TAKE YOUR TIME. and my main complaint is my exhaust is still leaking and pipe is still hitting the track bar yeah you did s**** me over on the estimate but thats not what my complaint is bud, and you know it to. Explain to them as well about the bolts you left loose and had me almost stranded oh that I had to come back you tell me come back you still didnt fix the issue I told you the exhaust shifts back when you get it where it needs to be it will shift you told me it needs v hand clamps sure you did but now its having the same issue and leaking from the mid v band clamp I have on video. Me showing you a picture or a video is not tampering bud you have problems and clearly cant back up your work you banned me for no reason you got sick of the job so you had no choice but to ban me and you a coward for that. I have way more videos Im about to send and pictures as well to there email.

When things like this happen its obvious someone is tampering with our work and trying to blame us for things we are not responsible for.

I am rejecting this response because: I am not going to pay you $2200 to have the same problem ***. You really think your going to charge me $2200 and not fix the issue give me another issue I dont think so. Im not doing anything but defending my self legally. Just like you banned me legally Im doing what I need to do to get my money back either or I will take you to court. On the sheet it says I came in for exhaust leak and fitment issues and I left your shop like that I came back you didnt even believe me you try to fix it you couldnt really you told me the car is fix and ready now nothing shouldnt hit IN 3 minutes I came back with the muffler nearly on the ground. Do me a favor show the BBB YOUR CAMERA AND YOU WILL SEE EVERYTHING. There nothing to discuss here. You can see on video he brought my car in MULTIPLE TIMES and if you dont want to show them any videos thats worse for you. I got nothing to hide here, I have to go to another fabrication shop thats actually good and pay them to the job the right away and I am not going to pay again I want a full refund. My pipe is hitting the TRACK BAR again which I told u at first that was an issue which u did not solve. The mid pipe v band clamp is leaking its all on video !!!! The exhaust actuator you were there I was there it was literally leaning on the exhaust shield which you adjusted to try to not have it hit the shield which still did when you started to drive I told you it shifts. You literally put it where it need to be and the exhaust shifts so explain to me why its still doing that ? You blamed my rear screws thats been on the car for nearly 5 years but the second it left your shop it was on the ground come on now dont give me excuses your a terrible shop not respectful what so ever dont take blame for your mistakes like other shops do pay up for it. I have all the videos and pictures you have nothing but talking. Please show the camera and video of me being so happy ! I want to see it I am waiting.

Ill try to keep it simple I have a dispute Im trying to get a full refund from Hochman fabrication and speed plus other wrong doings they caused but I have a dispute with chase for $2467.65 Im trying to get back via chase disputes since I used my credit card for a portion of the original bill from HOCHMAN but Im reaching out to BBB for the other $5000 I paid in cash so my original receipt which is included I paid hochman $7467.65 I included a file labeled original dispute for chase which detailed 50+ pages of my evidence I also submitted to chase to try and help my case to get my refund back. plus I included other receipts of charges I paid another shop to fix all the wrong doing of the Hochman business which includes charges of $78.84 to check out a battery light that came up and also $782.44 in actually replacing the wrong battery that Hochman used on my vehicle. So in total while working with BBB Im trying to get back in total $5861.28 with the help of the BBB again like I said and the other $2467.65 via chase disputes. I included a lot of info which I can help better explain to someone at BBB if you want to give me a call the merchant Im disputing with is very uncooperative. The merchant had my car for over 6 weeks and released my car in a worse state then when it was originally brought to them in.Business Response

We are a specialty automotive shop that offers custom fabrication and repair services, provide 100% transparency, and have a 5.0 rating from our customers. When this type of situation comes up it is a huge surprise and red flag for fraud to us because we communicate so much to our customers, provide regular updates via text and detailed photos/videos throughout the entire process while a car is here so there is 100% accountability on our end. I have this whole job very well documented! The parts and services that were invoiced we completed and documented well.
The system is not allowing me to upload videos because they are larger than 30MB. I have lots of videos which I can provide which validates and provides accountability on our end for the work we did, keeping the customer informed very well along the way. Just let me know how I can send them !
We did not do any of the damages they are claiming we did to the car. ********** is claiming we were unable to prove we did not do damages to the vehicle??? I'll flip the coin and ask the same thing right back.....Is there proof that we did these damages? Absolutely not. I can prove with the videos I have that we did in fact complete the work we billed him for, and you can see from our reputation online and the kinds of high-end vehicles we work on in the shop regularly it is NOT POSSIBLE a vehicle would leave here with such damages as claimed. These are accusations with no proof and does not justify them stealing from our business with this chargeback.
Additionally, ***** bank is claiming that we did not respond or attempt to resolve this with the customer directly, however that is completely false. The customer refused to take our call and allow us to clear up their confusion/address their concerns over the phone, and instead the customer insisted full refund via text making false accusations.
***************************** brought in his vehicle to our shop after he had already taken it to a bunch of other shops that had done poor work to the vehicle, messed with the computer tune, and more. We have documented text communications from ***************************** (see pictures provided) where he explains he is trying to get an attorney so he can go after these other shops such as "Eurocharged" because they were responsible for all the issues and damages done to his car which he is now trying to say was us. He then even goes on to say in the documented communication how he then took it to another shop before even bringing it in to us with the car still having issues. (See pictures of screenshots provided) So you can see these accusations towards us are invalid and should be directed towards those shops.
We repaired a number of issues on the vehicle when it arrived including a cracked valve cover, stripped bolts, missing bolts, bad battery, cleaned out intake manifold full of oil and more! Through our diagnostic work it was determined that the issues with the vehicle were related to the change in the computer tune (something we do not offer in our facility is computer tuning) so we suggested he have the tune reverted back to the factory settings. Clearly he took it back to another one of those bad shops...... and they are trying to point the finger back at us......

I am rejecting this response because:Hochman had my car for over SIX WEEKS and claim to have all these videos which more than likely are the same videos I have which dont prove any of his claims but yet Ive provided videos and photos from the other shop that had my car for 2 days with their findings of damages and the owner of hochman is trying to say the shop ********* caused all thes damages in 2 days but you can see from photos im providing a photo of my intake which hochman extensively worked on but I have a photo of it with a literal hole in it and he says in a text he knew about it all along and also trying to claim that it is corrosion which you can clearly see thats not just corrosion thats a literal hole which couldve caused serve further damage to my car also he never once specifically called me or texted me before then to let me know of this corrosion he found which again you can clearly see thats a hole in my intake and he willingly released my car in a terrible state because if to his own admission he knew then why wasnt it replaced? If the owner did exactly that then ********* wouldve never found that correct? Also he has no logical response for these photos showing all types of damage to my car the shop ********* found and provided photos which Im uploading. ********* reported all of this in my original receipt I uploaded detailing their findings. So Ill ask then Hochman explain all of the photos Im uploading because if you have all these photos and videos why do i have yet to see any videos proving my car put back together correctly with no broken pieces meanwhile Im providence hard evidence that you released my car with broken pieces and a hole in my intake. You can see in the photos exposed wires, broken connectors and injectors, etc
