Then I've m8ssed two days pay for their mistakes and they only compensated me for one days time.. They also are trying to convince me of the color I choose. I'm very aware of what color I wanted and what I picked... Now that I wish to cancel.. They will not refund my money...Business Response

I have requested a refund and to cancel for the following reason: Due to breach I am asking to cancel this contract and they are refusing to return my money.1.Incorrect Window Sizes: Despite two separate measurements, the windows provided during the first installation attempt were not the correct size, preventing the completion of the project.2.Incorrect ************** During the second installation attempt, the window grates provided were white instead of the agreed-upon wood tone that was meant to match the panels of the windows, deviating from the contracted design specifications. What is noted within the contract related to the grids was an error and lack of communication from your sales representative. As he was in my home and I showed him new windows installed by another company and asked for the exact look and feel. (See picture of my current windows and what was installed below)image0.jpeg image1.jpeg 3.Project Timeline Delays: The original project completion date was scheduled for September 23rd, yet the windows were not installed due to sizing issues. A second attempt on October 4th was also unsuccessful due to design discrepancies.4.Consistent Miscommunication: There has been ongoing miscommunication regarding key project elements, resulting in delays and an overall lack of clarity regarding the completion of the work.5.Poor Customer Experience: The repeated errors and lack of communication have led to a substandard customer experience, which I find unacceptable. These issues represent a clear breach of the contract terms and have caused significant inconvenience and frustration on my part. I am requesting that all further actions related to this contract be immediately ceased and that any fees or charges be waivedBusiness Response

We had Feldco come out and give us a quote for the windows on the front of our house to be replaced. We were happy with their quote and decided to move forward on August 13th of 2024 with them. We paid them half down and agreed we'd pay the second half after the installation. They ended up sending someone to come and measure the windows twice to be sure they had the correct measurements. Windows were then installed on Sept 20th and that's when things went wrong. We had 3 full sized windows and 2 transom windows replaced. Two men showed up in an unmarked truck and trailer to do the work. They argued the entire day. Our children were home and their language was horrible. The install day was a VERY hot day and they left our front door open the entire day letting any sort of cool air out that our air conditioner couldn't keep *****, the install. They cut 2x4s and lined our windows on all 4 sides with a 2x4 first before the installed the windows. The 2x4s are exposed on the inside of our house and on the top of one of the windows it doesn't fit at all so there are 2 2x4s stacked on top of each other with spray foam as well. There is a mess of caulking on the outside of the house on our new siding as well as caulk on the new windows. One window has crooked grid lines on the inside of the window and the window isn't level. This was mentioned to the installers and he said it's ok b/c the shash works. We were told that there would be NOTHING for us to do after the new windows were installed, but they installers told us we'd have to paint over the exposed 2x4s on the inside of the house. They also put so many tacks of nails to tack down our current trim that it's ruined. There are so many holes in the trim now and it has to be take off and replaced. We currently owe them another $3250 for a total to be paid of $6500.Business Response

The resolution agreement the customer agreed to and signed is still in place and being carried out by Feldco. The customer forgot about the appointment scheduled on 10/9 and was not home when we arrived. It was rescheduled for 10/16. On 10/16, it was noticed the sash replacement came the wrong size and had to be re-ordered. When the correct sash size comes in, everything will be completed.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because their response is a straight up lie and they know it.
I was home standing in my kitchen in my pajamas when the contractor showed up. My husband answered the door and asked the contractor to wait b/c we needed to figure out how we were going to move the furniture and what to do with our children since we didn't know they would be there. I was told by Feldco (*****) on 9/25 that the contractor5 (****) would call me with a time frame prior to coming out so we would know when to expect him on 10/4. I work from home and can't take off work on a whim. Since, Feldco never called to give me a time and ***** never gave me a time over the phone on 9/25 I thought they had forgotten to come.
After asking the contractor to wait, we decided to reschedule b/c we have so much furniture to move and didn't do that ahead of time b/c it's in the room our children sleep and we weren't give a time frame of when to expect them.
This is when i called ***** and he lied over the phone and told me that **** the contractor did call and he was looking at his call logs showing that he did call me ahead of time to confirm his arrival. I didn't mention any of that conversation to the contractor when he came on 10/9....one of the first things he said to us when he arrived at our house is sorry for the miscommunication last week, he didn't know he was supposed to call me to confirm a time. He would have if he knew to call me. Some one is lying to the customer. That's terrible business.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: I'd like to add more information to this case. Feldco has been out to our house two more times since the last update to this case. At this point....we are ready to be done working with them. The sash for the crooked grid has been replaced, but after it was put in, the window didn't work properly. So, we had to call Feldco and schedule them to come out ANOTHER time. If they'd do this correctly the first time. On 11/8 they came out and adjusted the window and now it's working better. That same window still is crooked from the initial install, but they don't want to come and completely remove and install the window correctly stating that it shouldn't cause us any issues down the road. They've offered to take $250 off our bill, which is a slap in the face, but they will not work with us at all. They've also stated that our old binds can be installed into the window and will not void our warranty so we will be installing them into the window below the transom window and hopefully that works as they say it will. I wish they were a company that would recognize how difficult this process has been.
Sincerely,

In March 2024 we completed a quote appointment with a very nice sales representative. We decided to move forward with installation, paid the down payment and had our windows measured and the install was scheduled for July 2024. Everything was smooth until Feldco called us 4 days before the installation to cancel our appointment due to an issue with the finance company. They refused to give us anymore info claiming they knew nothing at the time. They assured us they will callback same day or next day. We received no call for over a week. We even contacted the nice salesman that took our deposit. He claimed he knew nothing and promised to call us back and Here We Are in August with no answer. Feldco then submits our info to a different finance company without our permission and adamantly tries to force us to sign. We refuse to since the contract we had was cancelled with no explanation and we no longer trust Feldco. We thought we made a great choice for Feldco to install our windows and we were also looking forward to letting them take care of our roof and siding in the near future but after this fiasco I am sure we will find a better company that is more respectful of peoples time and money. Feldco stole from us claiming we cancelled our contract when in fact they cancelled on us and stated the contract was void. At this point the only resolution we want is our money back. We are hard working and have 4 children we are trying to care for. The fact that a Company who boasts about great service to show no respect for their customers is sad. But through it all we are greatful we found out the truth about how Feldco does business before giving them anymore of our time and money. It has cost us ****** and we learned a valuable *******Business Response

We had siding put on our house. They covered the vents from my over the stove exhaust vent and my downstairs bathroom vent. I told the installers as they were applying the siding. I advised the company *** as they were siding. He obtained attic vents which they applied to three sides of the house. These are not the vents I need. I sent the salesman pictures of what they installed, what was there before and how the insulation was cut by the installers. Apparently the company informed the installers those vents were no longer in use. The company a man I thought identified himself as ****, today I was told his name is *****, told me he wanted to bring the house up to code. The house is over ****************************************** 2018. The code was in effect as of 2024. I am sure it does not meet code to have exhaust vents simply come in contact with siding.Business Response

Tuesday July 16 a rep from FELDCO spent over two hours giving a demo and presentation but left without giving me a quote. He walked me through his FELDCO is a great company binder, showed and demonstrated his window display and red sample door. Ive called the company multiple times only to be told ***** manager will call me back. To date this has not happened. **** is reporting he was not finish with his presentation. FELDCO gave a false reason for not providing the finished quote. **** claims he didnt know what the final product was to be although I explained to him I wanted same color and style of whats already in place. I want ***** to finish the job. ******** unprofessional behavior and work ethic is unacceptable. ***** manager should return my call (I called three times on three separate days). Was charged $10,000 for special construction by the Feldco sales man that says was required. In watched them install the windows and took pictures, all they did was cut the windows out with a sawz all and put new ones in. The special was buy one get one free and free installation. When asked about the special construction the salesman said it wasn't part of installation. This is not right Feldco should credit the account as nothing was done. It was planned for two days, they did 17 Windows and a patio door in 7 hours. There was no special construction. I have tried getting g.someone on the Feldco team to respond and they wont after 3 attempts. Very disappointed.Business Response

Operations Manager spoke to customer and properly broke down how the labor is priced and what was included.Customer Answer

Complaint: 22024201
I am rejecting this response because: after speaking with the Operations Manager and the Sales Manager and supplying them with pictures they admitted that not all steps were completed for the installation and offered $817, plus $183 for customer satisfaction. I had asked to see the original written up contract but it has not been provided up to this point. Feldco is saying if they come out to show the special construction and they have to uncap a windows and it's there I have to pay to have it recapped. I am fairly certain the special construction quoted was almost $10,000 I don't feel $1000 is anywhere bear fair. They did offer to come.out pull the windows out and do the work that wasn't done at no charge but that puts strain on us ensuring everything is off the walls and moved.awayfrom the walls. Mycurrent situation with family health issues doesn't plot me the time to do all this. I asked them to meet me half way, $5,000 but they just keep saying $1,000. I explained that the salesman had told me the day I signed it was the last.day for the deal. Buy one get one half price no installation charges. The sales manager said that wasn't correct that was never a offer. I was referred to Feldco from somewhere had no issues. All I am looking for.is a reasonable accommodation from Feldco. If the labor is that intensive to charge $10,000 and they have said not all steps were.followed it should be refunded in its entirety.
Sincerely,

Complaint: 22024201
I am rejecting this response because: no agreement was reached. The original order order write up was requested was not provided. Feldco has stated the $10,000 is the charge for extra construction and since seeing the pictures I have sent have admitted stages of the install were not done because the installer didn't deem them necessary. If that's the case these tasks were not labor intensive and a refund should provided. An offer of $1000 as a refund was offered but I do t feel that's fair. I believe it should be much more.

I called Feldco to have windows and doors installed because a friend referred me. When I called I asked there would be a referral for my friend and they told me yes.I called Feldco and ordered my goods and had the service done. When I asked the salesman about the referral he told me I had to call the office after the service was done. I waited and when I called I got a run around from the person on the phone about my friend had to call and ask.My friend called and they told her I didn't qualify because I was a past customer. I had called ******************** before to have siding done, I got an estimate and shopped around and found another place to have the work done. I had Feldco do some other work and now Feldco refuses to give my friend the referral fee. They claim it's because I was a past customer but that is just one of many stories they've told me including my friend had her service done too long ago to make a referral. All of these lies just to avoid paying the referral fee. I think Feldco is giving us the run around, they did not say anything about past customers before I had the work done. That is false advertising.Business Response
