    Catering Made Simple catered my wedding on Aug 30, 2024. Before our wedding, after reviewing our final invoice I found several mistakes where we were overcharged by ~$400! On my wedding day 28 of my guests were not served dinner, which made dinner end 30 minutes late, and most of all we were completely humiliated. When talking to ******* the owner, he was extremely aggressive and vehemently refused to acknowledge that his company did not bring enough food. He claimed his chefs brought food for 265 people, the guest count I paid for was 216, yet 205 showed up. How was bringing that much extra food not able to feed 206 people? When addressing all the shortfalls his staff made, he alluded to my guests eating like animals and essentially blamed ME for catering my wedding as buffet style instead of ****** style. I asked to be compensated for the 28 people that werent fed, our lost wedding time (where we had to pay an additional hour of photo and video service since dinner ran so long, and the utter embarrassment we underwent at our wedding, ******* completely shut me out, went on a tangent talking about his business after *****, and offered me less than the per person cost of what we paid for at a future date on top of it all. All I was asking for is fair compensation for the horrific experience we had to go through, and what I got in return was a horrible attitude and outright refusal to make things right. My mother-in-law also had a call with him and was extremely aggressive with her and did not take accountability for the shortfalls HIS company was responsible for. I called this man while on my honeymoon on 9/2/2024 and he was very condescending, and absolutely mean way this man spoke to me. After that initial conversation, him and his assistant **** are both ignoring my calls and messages. As of 9/9/2024 I still have not been able to reach ******* since speaking to him on 9/2/2024. I initially asked for $5k refund but will settle with $2k.

    I have worked out an agreement with ***** that would satisfy us both on moving foward from the complaint.  She has told me that she has removed the complaint but the BBB has not allowed her to do so.  Please remove this complaint as it no longer exist.  Thank you!
