On or about September 12, 2022, I requested a cancellation of service on our previous address (114 *****************, **************) since we were moving to a new home. At this time, I also requested a partial refund for unused service since we prepaid for one full year less the bonus one-month free service from Security Doctors. In total, we paid for service from Feb 1, 2022 until January 1, 2023 (11 months). Security Doctors then stopped our service on or about October 1, 2022, but to this date, have failed to refund us for canceled service from October 1, 2022 to Dec 1, 2022. They have sent us one refund check for the month of December 2022. They also explained that January 2023 was the free month we received for prepaying one full year of service in advance. We agree to both of those months' credits. Today, we are requesting Security Doctors refund the remaining portion of prepaid and unused service for the two months of October and November 2022 billed at $44.95/month per contract. After waiting for months and after many emails, calls, texts back and forth with the owner and the manager, ****** and *****, it is clear that they have no intention of refunding us for unused service. We are requesting and hoping that the BBB can help us receive the two months of prepaid service. We feel very taken advantage of and do not want any other consumers to have to go through the runaround like we have with Security Doctors. Everything has been documented and I can share as needed with the BBB. Thank you.
