      We decided to send my granddaughter to Sylvan in the summer of 2022. They did the testing which cost $40.00. It was a special. They told us she needed 2 or 3 days a week. Due to family issues we asked for Monday, ******************* At that point we were told they are not open on Fridays so we took ******************* For the summer months she went during the day at 11:00 AM or 1:00 PM often school started the time slat he had was 4:00 to 5:00 PM. That worked for us. Once she was in school, Sylvan was supposed to communicate with her teacher so they would be on the same page. To my knowledge there has not been much communication. Of course when school started there were a lot more germs from a lot of kids and I do admit that my granddaughter missed some days. I always called to let them know that she would not be at her class. Around November they started canceling Mondays quite often. I contacted **** with my concerns. He apologized and said there was some staffing issues that he was trying to keep it up but after the first of the year things would get much better. In order for my granddaughter to go to Sylvan I had to take a $5,500 loan through a place called tuition solutions. It was given to me from Sylvan. I pay a monthly payment of $306.00 and I pay it on time every month. When the complications started to get bad I did call tuition solutions and was told that he got the whole $5,500 at one time. I had hoped that I could stop the payments going to him but that was not the case. Since the beginning of the year I have called four separate times left a message asking for him to call me. He has not! The last email I got from him was around the 20th of January of 2023. I was never told that he was not going to be open on Mondays anymore. I just was taking her there and the door was locked and there was no one around. I have contacted corporate for Sylvan they respond to my emails but I'm still not hearing from ****. As of now she goes one day a week.
