Took vehicle in for frame swap and other automotive work. 1. Frame was not sandblasted and painted as Rtech said would happen. Have multiple affidavits stating it was not, included pic of fresh paint over rust.2. Multiple area's of truck not assembled correctly, or not at all including emergency brake parts missing, exhaust system impeding suspension system. Gear shift missing bushings/stripped bolt to hold together, rear frame deflectors (one missing). High steering arm not used, (not returned). Multiple body mount bolts not tight. Orig engine mount cross member and upgraded hardware not reinstalled. (Mine was powder coated and hardware was upgraded to provide support for big block conversion). Have all documentation/pictures from restoration. 3. Rear differential set up way out of spec, unsafe to be driven. Gears need replacement due to noise from improper adjustment. 4. Paint damage in drivers door jam due to misalignment, paint job was brand new all panels aligned correctly few weeks prior. I combined many of the issues in this statement, I attempted to speak with the owner and his temper got the best of him, blamed me for accepting the vehicle, blamed GM for how they originally built the vehicle. My complaint is on what this shop failed to provide as per the contract, missing parts, incorrect assembly. I have multiple videos and all documentation and pictures from restoration to all the remedies that had to take place in order to put the vehicle back into the condition it was in when it was dropped off at Rtech, I have included a few.

    Business Response

****************** came Rtech Fabrications LLC last fall to have his **** K5 Blazer frame be replaced with another ***** K5 frame that was straight and reinforced. Scope of work grew to include axle service, chassis suspension work, and eventually added installation of front and rear sway bars and exhaust modification.  From the beginning ****************** voiced several concerns with the associated costs of the estimate. Rtech Fabrications Project Manager, ******************, accommodated ****************** with options to lower the estimate and ****************** mentioned more than once doing some of the project himself to lower costs.

In response to Mr. ******** claim:

******************, along with our lead fabricator **************, and ****************** had a conversation about the panel alignment and the work needed for proper fitment after moving a cab from a bent frame to a straight frame. ****************** decided against the work due to financial concerns and did not want the work to be completed. Please see the attached final invoice and notice that line-item #8 under disassembly/assembly is zero.

At no time would Rtech Fabrications LLC paint over rust. ****************** was provided pictures of the blasted frame as well as the painted frame. A bracket was removed after painting that exposed a small area that had not been blasted or painted. See attached picture.

The gears were already damaged due to a bent axle when the project came to us. We recommended replacing the gears however, ****************** didnt want the additional costs, so we reinstalled the original gears, against our advice.

    .
Project came to us with missing parts. The rear bumper deflector light was already missing.

Linkage rod was already rubbing when the project came to us. Rtech Fabrications LLC only disconnected and reconnected the linkage rod as to complete our authorized work. No correction of the linkage rod was in the scope of work.

The motor installed in the K5 Blazer was not right for frame fitment when it came to Rtech Fabrications LLC.

The crossmember came to us powder coated but did not have the correct hardware installed for the driveline setup. We painted the same crossmember with the non-bent frame he purchased from us.

On March 28, 2022, ****************, Assistant Project Manager, reached out to ***************** to schedule an appointment to discuss his truck and to address any issues he may have had. ****************** stated it would be a few days since he had ordered the wrong steering box and was waiting for the correct one to come in.****************** did not schedule a follow appointment allowing the opportunity for us to address or correct any the problems which he claimed.

I received no such pictures of blasted frame. Show them.  I have affidavits from a large media blasting company and two automotive paint companies stating either the frame was not blasted or not blasted adequate enough to remove rust. As you can see in the picture you provided bleed through rust on the newly painted frame.
Rear bumper deflector light missing, this is an out right lie. There is no rear deflector light at all. The rear bumper deflector was missing. I handed both of them to *** upon arrival as I had just picked them up from the powder coater.
I have pictures of the entire restoration of this vehicle, the rod was not rubbing on the firewall nor was anything rubbing on the oil line. The vehicle was dropped off without the issue and was returned with the issue.
GM engines of this era both mount exactly the same.  Powder coated cross member correct hardware installed for the driveline set up? Another lie. There is no special or correct hardware, they are exactly the same period. Mine was powder coated and I was told it would be used, the only difference was I had larger bolts installed for integrity, you did not use the larger hardware I provided. It was about being easy and lazy. They did not take the time to swap them as *** stated they would. Yet you can in the future explain what correct hardware you are speaking of as that is a lie, thank you.
I have receipt and affidavit from local gear shop with video of the backlash in the rear end setup. It was way out of tolerance. This caused the gear wear issue. The vehicle was driven less than 100 miles before it came to your shop. The gear problem was caused by your lack of correct installation and checking of backlash set up.
You ignored quite a few things that you did incorrectly in my orig complaint, exhaust impeding rear suspension for one, loose bolts etc. You stating I agreed to no panel alignment to save money, I agreed to possible paint damage to save money? The picture you provided was a picture I provided you with showing the door alignment being so far off damage occurred.

I am rejecting this response because:

    Sincerely,
