The owner is trying to charge me for services never performed. Claimed he mowed my lawn when I was out of town. Owner can not provide proof of services (claims he has video) my ring camera never picked up any motion, the lawn was 3.5 inches tall after they claimed they mowed, owner was extremely unprofessional when I asked to switch to a new service provider. Pitts Lawn & Tree Service (PLTS) has sent me two invoices for services they didnt provide on dates they werent my lawn-care company. I brought this to the owners attention (voice-mail) when an invoice for late June appeared in my mail but received no call back. Ive since received a bill for two additional dates of lawn mowing in July and two in August (both August events for work in the same week). When the first bill arrived, I assumed a worker had posted a job to the wrong account since I terminated my agreement with PLTS in early June an error, or unethical billing if intentional. The arrival of the July/August bill after the owner had been notified now pushes beyond unethical to either harassment or illegal activity. The statements all say Please contact us with any questions regarding this invoice. Theyve not returned phone calls, answered email messages, or responded to a certified letter.Business Response

I reject the response from Pitts Lawn and Tree Service. I owe them no payment because [1] I phoned them and left a voice-mail message in early June 2023 to end service when the City threatened to bill and fine me for violating the lawn-height ordinance, at which time I hired someone else to mow, and yet [2] their bill is for services they say they provided in late June, twice in July, and twice (in the same week) in August, despite my having contacted them following the late-June billing and the July/August billing. Their previous lawn service for me (2022) involved mowing, edging, and trimming, and anyone looking at what my current service provides will know they only mow (no edging or trimming). I have left voice-mail messages with Pitts Lawn and Tree Service each time a bill has arrived (no calls returned) and email messages each time (no responses received). All of this led to the Certified Letter (again, no response) and then my contact with the Better Business Bureau. No blackmail (or black male, as their response puts it) was involved, simply the statement that I would be posting reviews on their website and contacting the BBB and asking whether I needed to get an attorney involved to help resolve this issue.

Pitts Lawn service caused damage to our house. We repaired the damage with our builder and was billed $600 for it. When we reached out to Pitts to repay for the damage, they were extremely rude and un apologetic. They called us liars and were very in professional.Business Response

This is a complete lie, same thing I told her as you told me my spelling and grammar was terrible. She basically called me ******ed. So her husband reached out July 27 and told me about the damage. Never asked me to fix it. Never asked me anything other then be more careful. So Oct 12 at midnight his wife emails me and basically from beginning was very rude. And I told her that she was lieing and that the customer is not always right. She told me I very unprofessional . I said iam just speaking facts. I can provide the email where her husband says this. I can always post the email where here husband crimaly threats me. I just stated the facts. He husband messaged me and threaten me and force me to say sorry. Texts can be provided. She's man because she treated me like iam not a person which I told her , and thinks because she yells and screams she right. I feel as my emails can support every from he doesn't know when it happen to him threating me to his wife being very disrespectful. I am rejecting this response because:
I will respond in that I never once called ******* a name. As for my husband, he never criminally threatened *******. He told ******* to be careful and that he was not communicating in a professional or appropriate way. I never screamed or yelled, so Im not sure where that narrative of ******** came from. Please look at what other concerned customers have written, and you will see a pattern of Pitts being aggressive and rude. You can see the tone of his response to my complaint, telling us he wouldnt change a thing, or how he acted; so Im not sure where his apology comes in. It is obvious that a war of words is not achieving anything. At this point, we still feel that Pitts owes us some compensation because they did cause damage to our house.

Well heres the facts her husbanded email me about this around 3months ago and explained it never asked for payment or for me to fix it, the day before she filed this complaint she emailed me and let me clear she never spoke to me on the phone so she has no idea my tone or my body language ect, if that statement was ******* up in a court of law it would be shut down because its just not true with out facts. The fact is her hushand never ask for anything of us. His wife emails us stating she has called us nurmous times, i stated taht was a lie because it is. She doesnt have to like it but its the truth. Sorry your up set about it and want make fun of my spelling and grammer. All i Stated to here was had i gotten a call , i would have hired someone to give an estimete just as any insurance company would requiire, see sent me a carbon copy with the business name scratched out, that doesnt make me a bad person for asking . Its just standard for any perosn paying for wanting paid for it to seem legit. And by me asking and stating this you made fun of my spelling and grammer, So like i said in my email, your calling me retarted? :The moral of this is your up set your husband took care of this issue , but you got up set i told you that you were lieing where you are, i can provide version phone recorts for her and hersbuand during the 3 months and not more then 1 time.
