    They did a wonderful job taking down a tree last fall, fast and efficient. But had a few issues with the stump and roots. During the initial estimate I made it very clear that when they ground the stump to remove ALL the chips and to NOT fill in the hole. I have a huge pile of dirt behind the garage that I wanted to use to fill the hole. When they came back to grind the stump, they of course filled the hole with the wood chips, and I used over 3 yard waste bins to clear them all out and found huge chunks of stump still left that was not ground out. I called 2 or 3 times last fall to see if they could come back out and finish the job and to also give me an estimate to remove the rest of the surface roots in the yard, I was told they would see about getting things scheduled and I never heard back from them. I waited out the winter and on March 29th (Wednesday) I called again, told them I was wanting the rest of the stump taken care of and the surface roots in the back yard taken care of, can I get an estimate. I also stated I wanted to talk to the estimator when they showed up to see if they actually do the work I was wanting done (finish removing stump, clear out surface roots, and remove ALL wood chips, no fill dirt needed since I already have that). I was told that they would have people out on Thursday to take care of it, maybe Friday, they were a complete no show. I called again on April 10 and they got someone out here this morning (April 11), the crew could really only do the work on their work order, which amounted to only removing the remainder of the stump, the surface roots I have fully exposed on my own, and to level things out by pushing chips back into the hole. There are still quite a few surface roots that are still there along with some chunks of stump. I am now needing to find someone else that will come out and actually finish the job. Franks does a good job taking trees down, but does a half ass job taking care of the stumps and roots.
