    We signed for a bathroom remodel in spring of 2022 and gave the Design Studio a deposit of over $16,000. After months and months of no progress and communication, we asked to cancel. The owner, *****, would not communicate with us about anything on our project. We felt our deposit was just taken to pay for other things. It's unfortunate, but our mistake in trusting and not doing our due diligence when hiring this contractor. We have a legal judgement against the Design Studio for a partial return of our deposit. However, the Design Studio is unwilling to pay, even after saying they'd do a payment plan to take care of this and us. We'd tried communicating for months, and it's a false promise of paying soon or no response. For anyone that sees this, please DO NOT hire the Design Studio for any job.
