In early April 2024 Allgood Construction came out to dig footings for fence columns for my next door neighbor. The property line had recently been marked by a surveyor who also placed wooden stakes to clearly show the property line. I spoke to the owner of Allgood Construction, Mark *********************** to make sure he understood that no part of the fence or footing could encroach on my property. Not only is this good practice but it is also ***** Springs code. He said he understood and assured me everything would be fine. His guys had already pulled a string between the stakes so the property line was clearly visible. On May 20, 2024, after the footings had been poured, Allgood Construction came back out to begin building the brick fence columns. Once I saw they were back on site I went over to tell them they had indeed encroached on my property. Fortunately, the company owner, **** Allgood was there. Unfortunately, this is where his shenanigans began. At first, he claimed there was no encroachment but it was so obvious he shortly changed his story and admitted that he had encroached but tried to minimize the amount. After that did not work he got mad and belligerent and began to verbally insult me for insisting his work not encroach on my property. After several minutes of that he told one of his guys to cut out the encroaching concrete. I thought that was the end of it but, when I looked again after they had bricked the column, no encroaching concrete was cut out. Fortunately, this entire interaction was recorded.
